These seeds attract the small winter birds and therefore the larger predators are not interested which is what we want.
My bird really likes it. The price is really good specially when you live in a fixed income, but the protein that it gives my bird, she is even happy once I serve it she begins to whistle like singing, so there is something good about this. Give it a try, what's to lose?

My parakeet, Meatball, loves it. It smells fresh .
The 5lb is a good value choice. I used to keep parakeets and lovebirds. Now I get this for a snack/treat for my backyard chickens and to add with what I give wild birds in feeder - started giving to chickens because they wanted to pilfer from bird feeder which is not wise in case of disease.
This is the only seed that my bird will eat. They love it! Sometimes they jump in my hand and try to eat it before I can put it in their dish. Happy seeds make for happy birds and I'm all for that!
My parakeets love this food. I tried switching to a different type and they didn't care for it. They must like the citrus scent. I also like how the bag has a ziplock seal so the scent and the seed stays fresh. And its a good seal not one of those that rip off when trying to open the bag like the cheaper one I bought.
my birds eat more of this, it doesn't seem to fill them up. i will buy the more expensive food next time.

It doesn't look like the same as usual, it mixed with a lot only shell on them.
