I LOVE my new Sew Ready Comet Sewing Desk!! It took only 35 minutes for my husband and I to put it together and it is very well made. It is sturdy and does not shake when I'm sewing. It is a very good value for the money as I had been searching for a sewing table (wooden) for ages but they are ridiculously priced....most starting at $300 . I highly recommend this sewing table.
I got this to replace a bulkier, yet less spacious desk and it's perfect. I use it for sewing and for regular computer stuff (writing, listening to podcasts, binge watching B99, you know). I did need to request a replacement round floor leveler (basically one of the rounded feet that helps with mobility), because there was something about the screw keeping it from screwing into any of the legs, so I haven't been able to attach those yet. Hopefully the replacement leveler comes soon, but other than that, it's a great desk.
This table is perfect for my sewing area. Plenty of workspace for sewing items and machine.
Assembly was not difficult, it took me a bit over half an hour. Directions were fairly clear. This table will be used mainly as a remote work desk, but occasionally as a sewing table. Considering there are two sections that drop down/can be lowered, the table feels very stable. The table top/shelving material feels very solid. The shelves are roomy enough for paper trays, files, etc. The fabric drawer is okay but once you have items in it you need to hold on to it when you open it so it doesn't fall forwards. It was delivered on the date as promised. There were a few gouges in the carton, but the desk was well packed with lots (and lots) of Styrofoam - no damage.
Very sturdy. Insert raises easily. Would buy again.
I'll be using this as a sewing table for my new sewing machine. The directions were very well written and it turned out perfect and I love it!

I love the hight, the shelves, and the ability to change the length of the desk. My current problem with the desk is I haven't been able to raise the shelve to have a completely flat work surface. Im still trying to figure out if I can fix it.
Love the table, works like a charm for my quilting. Was disappointed that it was delivered to another place down the road and I had to go there to pick it up. Extremely heavy for me to do on my own. Was thankful that the lady called and let me know that they dropped it off in their yard, otherwise I would have lost it. Perhaps in the future have your drivers READ the address they are delivering to, would be helpful.
I purchase this for my sewing machine, but end up using it as a desk. Love it for sewing and my computer. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is because I don't like the material of the little drawer on the side. It's fabric and is not firm.
