This has made life so much simpler can easily switch out the pad under the litter box and only need to scoop the poop. Easy to dump clean and refill with the pellets and no tracking of litter throughout the house
I've tried automatic litter boxes, I've tried climbing and non clumping litter. Purina Tidy Cat Breeze beats em all. Even when I had the Litter Robot, occasionally I had to scoop. But this system is like nothing I've ever tried. There is minimal tracking, You only replace the pad once a week (I only have one cat) and only scoop out the poop every other day or so. It is dry as can be, so it is simple to do with hardly any fuss. This product is aptly named because it truly is a breeze.
will mever use another thing. no messy litter being tracked around the house. this catches all of the urine in the pad, then i place it in a grocery bag and just toss it in the trash. easy peasy lemon squeezy. no mess anywhere.
I bought these for my cat's pet taxi. I was moving and it was a 2 hour travel. The pad fit perfectly in his pet taxi and worked great. No nasty smells. Reasonably priced, as well.
i wouldnt recommend buying off brand pads because they do not live up to the tidy cat pad. The tidy cat pad does absorb like ot should where others are just too thin
One pad a week is all that is needed to block urine odor. The cat always lets me know if I need to change it. Two minute change and back to a perfect cat world!
I have been using this product since I adopted my kitty 5 years ago. May be looking into other systems as this one is getting too expensive.
The refill bag fills up the litter box system, however we found our one cat will require us to change the urine pads every 3 days, and this refill bag lasts about 10 days before needing a full cleaning/changing. I was hoping it would last longer, but the pellets get dirty over time, and although they don't look wet after being used, they darken and smell pretty strong of feces. The pellets DO tend to stay put, no trails or mess on the floor, but the smell is not contained, and the noise of the cat scraping through the pellets is very loud. ..like gravel being scraped out of a glass jug, or similar. I liked the idea of urine going through the top layer of the box, and would have kept it except for the smell.
I bought this system @3 years ago and both my cat and I love it. However,in the past year fewer and fewer stores carry the refills. Only a few Walmarts carried the refills and now none of these stores carry them. I was happy to find the pads online and ordered them just in time. I hope the company isn't going to stop making this product as there's nothing like it!!!
