I have been buying this brand for years. My Mastiffs LOVE this food and the price is great compared to Blue Buffalo!! Yes, the price has went up, but its worth it! Very happy with the ingredients. Well worth the money.
I feed the Pure Balance Large Breed dog food, to my 8 month old male Rottweiler puppy. I mix this with Pure Balance Pro Puppy, and Pure Balance Venison. These dog foods have real meat as the 1st ingredient, no corn. I have owned Rottweilers for over 20yrs, and tried many dog foods over the years, Pure Balance Dog food has to be my favorite. I would compare some of the Wild Pure Balance foid with Taste of the Wild Dog food, which is very expensive. So i really like the Pure Balance quality and price vs this more expensive brand. My 8 month old Rottweiler has a beautiful thick shiny coat, shiny eyes, it is keeping him nice and stocky, sid stools, and no gas!!! Other dog foods that have corn in them make Rottweilers gasy..pew, this issue is gone with Pure Balance. I will keep mixing the Pure Balnce Puppy, with the Pure Balance Large Breed and Wilds until he stops growing fully at 3yrs, than just feed him the Pure Balance Large Breed and Wilds. I don't know what the difference between this and the old Pure Balance Chicken and Brown Rice is, but my dog loves it the same. I mixed bags to ween him off the old and didn't have any issues. I feel like he doesn't use the bathroom as much, but that might just be a coincidence. The only issue I have with this new one is the kibble is small and I don't want to over feed him.
JT is a Chocolate Labrador retriever. He is 1 yr old now. This has been the only food he's had since 3 mos old. Very healthy with shiney coat.
My dogs fur has never looked so healthy! Also one of my dogs has always (since he was a puppy) had issues with yeast around his paws and they get really red and irritated. I have been using this product 2 months it is completely cleared up!! I will never use another brand again. I mix this with the same brand wet food once a day as well. My dogs LOVE it!
my pups are great weight and have healthy coats. they used to have itchy skin and then i switched to this brand and the itching is gone. they love to eat it. i usually order online. it is not always available at our Walmart. it come quickly and i get 4 bags at a time. i have 2 great danes and 2 dutch shepherds. i would highly recommend this food.
My Doberman Loves this dog food. So glad we tried it. The first ingredient is chicken so you know you are getting real food. My Doberman will eat this dogfood without mixing any real meat in, which is saying something, His favorite flavor is the chicken and brown rice. I would definitely recommend this brand!
My dogs love the pure balance food of brown rice and chicken. I have seen that their fur falls out and they also have a lot of energy all day long. I recommend them for the price, which is not expensive, and the quality of their food.
Our Great Dane loves this. He's picky about other brands. We mix this with a little fresh pet, and eats it all up.
My dogs like the food ok, but I'm disappointed with how the kibble is the same size as the small breed food. Large dogs have a hard time chewing small kibble and end up with more tarter on their teeth.
