my goldfish has lost his fins on top, a friend recommended this product for me to buy it has bee. almost a week and im hoping this works for Harry. i have heard great this about this product

I use this when my fish start to show signs of fin rot. It works great.
My two goldfish had some black streaks in their tails that could have been a few different things. I like that this treats several different fish diseases and ailments. After the 7 days recommended and a 25% water change the fish are 100% better. From now on, I'll be using this at any sign of illness.
I just picked up and researched this off brand melafix that the other reviewers mentioned. While it looks like a knock off of the API brand Melafix, this is truly, essentially the same product. It has the same ingredients and is even made by the same parent company, Mars Fishcare. The only difference is the API version is about $2 more than this Doc Wellfish version. The reason most likely due to the packaging cost and the fact API is a more popular, thus, a more in demand brand. They can and will charge more for that fact. With that in mind, the off brand version is just as good and you can get a deal out of it, too!

Saved my fish! This treats so many different problems with fish, helps heal them, doesn't effect aquatic plants or invertebrates and can be used to introduce new fish. Targets numerous bacterial infections, fin damage, uncers and wounds so you dont have to spend time guessing. Says all natural so a full water change is unnecessary. Used this along side of Tetra Lifeguard all in one treatment tablets. Large quantity for the price too.
y betta had a popeye and also was very unproductive. This medicine really helped I didn't believe that my fish will last long and he's back to normal. Highly recommend it. It was a fast recovery.
Why have the price increased so much now that weâre going thru this pandemic , I purchased back a few months before and it was a lot cheaper , is this considered as price gauging ? Wonderful product but refuse to buy again on this site due to over pricing
I ordered this product online but chose to pickup in store & it's not the API brand! It's a generic brand by a company named Mars Fishcare. Disappointed! If the item pictured online isn't the exact one they have in store then there shouldn't be an option to pick it up. My plan was to use the API MELAFIX along with the API PIMAFIX (purchased elsewhere) since the company says it's alright to use them together. But instead I'm now using this generic brand of MELAFIX with the API brand of PIMAFIX which doesn't seem to have any apparent negative effects so far. But I'm curious to know if the single API brand would've worked more effectively & efficiently since it's made by the same company. I don't recommend you order this online but pickup in store unless you call to check beforehand that they have the API brand. Unless you don't mind the generic of course. Just thought I'd inform my fellow fish owners before they end up surprised like I did.
