they are easy to put together and work great
I bought the Tetra whisper fish cartridges , they are worth the money, you get three in a box, and you change the filter once a month, the water stays clear for a month, i will buy again
I love that their the exact same thing as the already assembled filters but just cheaper. It's very easy to put them together.
Feel like it could use a bit more carbon to add to filter but other than that it has seem to work well so far clear tank!
Good filter keeps water clean
I did not realize these were the unassembled filters when I ordered, I had only been paying attention to the lower price. But when I took the items out of the box, I realized how easy it is to assemble yourself. Just slide one of the mesh filter bags over the plastic form and dump in a pre measured packet of the activated charcoal. Then place the included clip over the top and it's all set. Soooo easy, I will only order this way in the future since it saves money. I would recommend.
Works good on my 5 gal tank
I have about a 40 gallon fresh water fish tank and as long as the filters are changed regularly the tank stays really clean. I had to get two of the matching brand's filter pumps though. I originally got one that was supposed to be for 40 gallons by itself and the tank kept getting disgusting. So I got a second one for 30 and added it to the tank, now it is always clean
Disappointed with the amount of charcoal that came with this… won't be buying again
my order wasnt left at my door but in the middle of my driveway. luckily i didnt drive over it pulling in to my driveway... how hard would it have been to walk 3 more feet and place them on my front steps? get on delivery time but not on delivering it.
