I have always been a fan of Dawn Dish Soap ever since 1976. Dawn is the best around. The value because you don't have to use so much to get the grease off your dishes, pots pan etc. It goes about and beyond when grease has been sitting for a while. Just soak item/s in Dawn and TA-DA, just wipe clean. It also works on greasy laundry stains. I'll e a faithful user of Dawn forever. The Lavender fragrance makes the kitchen smell good also. I love this product, I've been using dawn for years. I don't like using rubber gloves to wash dishes, and I usually like to wash some things on hand, even though I have a dish washer, the Dawn Hand renewal is great, it leaves my hands feeling soft, and not harsh like some other brands. I do not like the smell of Dawn lavender silk. I have noticed that I make a face when I use it. I saw lavender in the name and expected a true lavender fragrance. I didn't smell it in the store. There is a money back guarantee but I have no idea where my receipt is. Dawn is my favorite dish soap but I will stick to the regular scent in the future.
I have used this dishsoap for a couple of months. It works well on dishes. I have sensitive skin, and this soap does not cause my hands to hurt and break out as much as the regular dishsoap. The scent in the bottle is fine, but the odor that it leaves behind on my dishrags is terrible. The odor does not rinse out easily, either. The same smell is now in the garbage disposal and drain pipe as well. I am in hopes that switching to another soap will make the smell go away.
