We really like this desk that we purchased from Sauder. It was not complicated to put together. It took my husband and I about 1-1/2 hours to put together. (We sell cabinetry for a living, and feel that this desk is decent quality. ) It was worth spending the little more than we had planned on after seeing all the cheap junk online. We've purchased Sauder products before through the decades, and know that they last. That is why we chose this desk and have no regrets. The only comment I have is to measure your computer tower if you are planning to put it inside the left door; ours was a little too deep. We leave it in there anyway since we'll be getting a new computer at some point. Nice product.
Home Office use. A very nice product and I just assemble it today March 17, 2021 and it was easy to do. There were two things that were problems, the desk top front left corner chipped a little and the center drawer warped and the finish seems lighter.
Desk was like the pictures on line showed. Very happy with purchase. Putting desk together took about 5 hours total over 2 days. For the most part, instructions were very good. Just pay attention to the parts numbers which can be hard to find on some pieces.
Beautiful and well made. I love this desk and would definitely buy it again. Unlike some of the reviews that I read, my desk was not damaged in shipping. I unpackaged it as soon as it arrived and inspected it. I was very impressed by the packaging and reinforcement pieces in the box. Plus, to know that a company stands behind it's product was definitely a selling point for me.
Beautiful desk. And actually easy to put together. I hate putting things like this together but since we had a lot of time on her hands it worked out perfectly. I definitely recommend this desk.
Desk arrived & box was damaged. One door had a sizable scratch on the inside. Assembly was not bad. 2 of the hidden cams broke, 1 was able to salvage, should have extras in the box but there wasn't.
I bought this desk to match my other furniture and it is darker then the picture shows. It did take time to put together and their is a time where you need two people to put it together. It is a nice sturdy desk with plenty if room to work and lots of storage for all you needs.
We needed a desk for my home office. The configuration of this desk is what we needed. Overall not a bad desk. We had an issue with the center drawer not fitting easily and took some work to get it to work properly. It is ok but sticks a little. Other than that the desk is fine.
For the price this desk isnt bad. BUT desk came damaged and after spending hours getting to the damaged part I decided to call the company. Beware the only wanted to send me a replacement piece. I asked the women on the phone if they were going to send someone to disassemble the desk and rebuild it because my times isnt worth redoing the entire build over. She so no and they dont offer and discounts! So beware that even though the desk looks nice it is cheap junk that apparently cracks during shipping. Sad to see this from a company here in the US.
1st of all your pictures are very deceptive while this appears to be at the very least a higher quality of press board it is no better than a $40 desk. I am by trade a licensed mechanic with construction experience. I am trained to follow instructions and am very mechanically inclined and capable. When assembling this I reache the step of putting the back on with a 4 different points that had to be aligned at the same time. The board simply wouldn't fit. While carefully and gently pulling, having no other option avaliable, to attempt to align things and get it to fit it broke in four or five other fasteners and literally collapsed and was beyond repair. Give the nature of the piece it is impossible to get back in a box to return. So practically I spent almost $350 to put a pile of chear wood chips and glue in a pile by the road for the trash man. As a working class father of 6 it is very rare I get the ability to splurge on something for me. Don't know when I will have the chance to do it again but I can guarantee it won't be on anything like this or from this store.
