easy to put together, and great for an apartmen bathroom.
I thought it would not be very nice because of the price but it is. It is sturdy, looks nice and serves its purpose. Very happy with it.
Because my husband put together the p.o.s. we got for the hall bathroom, I had to put this one together. No problemo! I was able to complete this without one cuss word. It looks great, holds tons of stuff and has helped us organize our tiny bathroom. My only complaint is that it wasn't quite level (maybe due to the expensive tile I have in the bathroom being a bit rough.) However, I used a few tiny felt pads under one leg to keep it from rocking. It's definitely worth the money.
This is a nice product for the price. Tough to put screws in by hand as some are really tight and some fit smoothly. It's shaky but I did not screw it into the wall, which it does allow for and suggest. Make sure you put it together right the first time or you have to take it apart and start over and that's a big pain (from experience). Once together holds towels and extra items nicely.
It's alright. It does what its supposed to, what I didn't like about it is that you have to screw it into the wall for it to be "sturdy" and if you don't (like me) things will constantly be falling even if you slighty bump into it. I've had many things fall into the toilet for this reason, but since I just got my bathroom remodeled, I really don't want to make holes in the walls. But if you don't mind making the holes in the walls, then it's a good buy and easy to assemble.
I would recommend this item to a friend if they are going to use it just for towels. I would not recommend sitting heavy items on the shelves as they bend easily. The frame itself is sturdy and if you tighten all the screws after putting the product together, it will be sturdy enough. However, the frame still needs to be bolted to the wall. Mainstay has a nice Satin Nickel Finish Bathroom organizer set and the shelves are studier than the Medina. The Mainstay set also has a toilet tissue holder and over-the-door towel rack, which are very sturdy, but it did not state on the box that it is rust resistant and it does not matter for the bathroom I am using the Mainstay in. I love the color of the Medina as it goes nicely in my bathroom as the colors are grey and purple. I do not think the color is painted grey - it is just not satin nickel. This is a nice addition to my guest bathroom as the cabinet space is too small for towels. I purchased the Mainstay for my master bedroom bathroom and Better Homes and Gardens Spacesaver oil-rubbed bronze for another bathroom. I have not had time to put the BHG Spacesaver together yet, but looks to be sturdier than all of them.
This is what it looks like in the picture, but it is not shiny! I'm kind of disappointed with the finish because I bought a shower curtain rod with the "Satin Nickel Finish" and this spacesaver is suppose to have the "Satin Nickel Finish" also, but it looks like it was spray painted "Gray". Other than that, it is just as pictured. Very easy to assemble! It will do the job, but it looks cheap!
The product looks nothing like the picture. It does what it says and the dimension are correct. But the picture makes it look like brushed satin nickel. The product is PAINTED GREY. The finish looks nothing like the pic, so buyer beware.
I just bought this today at the store, and it looked pretty in the picture. It doesn't look horrible, but it is definitely very cheaply made. We followed the instructions exactly, put it together, and it's not at all stable. I almost want to just take the thing back, but it would be more hassle than it's worth to do that. I would like to see the retail price lowered dramatically on this particular item. I do not believe that $40 for this is any kind of value. Now that I own this, put it together and see it for what it is, I would pay no more than $15 for this. I believe the buyer should go back to the supplier and negotiate a lower cost on this item so that Walmart can offer the customer a price that should rightfully be charged for this item.
First off the screw holes are not flush and do not match properly. Secondly the shelves are very "rickety" for lack of a better word. If you nudge them even the slightest bit the shelves will move and knock over everything that is on them. Unless you are a carpenter or otherwise know how to mount them to the wall for stability I would advise spending your money on something else. I wish I had. They look nice enough but are not at all sturdy and the wires on the shelves are too far apart to put much on them.
