Great for acne. I mainly use it after working out or for when I dye my hair. It helps remove the hair dye around my hair line, ears, back of neck, etc. Great product I've been using since high school.
This astringent It's good I used for years this pretty much step to do all the other stuff they are supposed to be using with it. It does a good job cleaning.
This is a affordable product that works amazing 😻. Clean my face in a week. I use this after I wash my face as a toner after that I put on moisturizer. Highly recommended product.
This is the best stuff on the market for pimples. As a mom of two teenagers this is my top recommendation to prevent acne and to treat it once it appears. We use a cotton swab to dab the pimples. No heavy fragrance and gets the job done.
As soon as I saw that the packaging looked different and said “new and improved formula”, that right there told me I'd need to find something else to use going forward. Nonetheless, I figured I'd give this new one an chance anyway. Well, I was disappointed as expected. The original product worked great; if I had a pimple forming, I could literally see it shrinking when I used this product and it also helped with my oily skin. I can go so far to say it cleared my skin up better than some of the other more expensive brands I used, which is why I started buying it again to begin with. This new formula, however, doesn't really work at all. And I compared the ingredients of the original bottle to this new one and it says there isn't a difference but obviously you all removed whatever it was that was helping to remove acne. I would have rather you raised the price for the original than to completely change the formula and charge the same amount. Well, I'll be going back to using what I already had before and keep searching for something more effective in the meantime.
I have been a loyal customer of the C&C Deep Cleaning Astringent for Sensitive Skin for 10+ years. When I couldn't find it in stores the last few months I started to panic that it had been discontinued and.. sure enough. :( So, I bought the new version of the essentials toner and it absolutely burns my face. Even after I immediately washed it off from the pain- I woke up the next morning and my chin was dry and cracked. My skin has always been clear (I rarely get a pimple) and has always been very low-maintenance, which I accredited to the Clean & Clear Sensitive skin Toner. But now I'm breaking out on my chin, forehead and cheek.. Please please pleaseeeeee bring the old formula back, I beg. :(
This is not the same product and it is NOT improved. Why would you get rid of such a fantastic astringent? I have used the original astringent for more years than I can remember and loved how well it worked; my kids love it too. Now I have to find another brand. Please listen to your customers and bring back the old formula. So dissapointed!
It is not the same as the deep clean astringent was. I loved the astringent and have used it for numerous years. Even though it says there is no oil in the product, there is something in this new formula that is not clearly listed because it leaves a oily residue after a while on my skin. It says it has B5 in it but does not list it in the ingredients so I'm wondering if that has something to do with the residue feeling. I do not like this revised version at all. Very disappointed!
I've been a devoted fan of the old formula for what might be decades. Super effective at keeping skin clear and drying blemishes. New formula doesn't come close. As with most formula changes that happen with perfectly great products, I'd love to see the people who thought this was a good idea to be fired. No- I don't recommend the new "Essentials" version. And won't purchase it again. Honestly not sure if I could trust seeing the old version back on the shelves- That's the damage brands do when they pull a switch on long time customers :(
I have been using this since I was 13 years old which means I have now been using it for 28 years...I do NOT like the new formula at all. I have already started to shop around for a new product. In the last week I have had TWO blemishes and that is extremely rare as my face usually stays clear. This new formula just isn't cutting it, and I don't feel the same clean and fresh feeling I got after using the old product.
