I cannot tell this is sugarfree, and it tastes great!
Being diabetic, I searched for a sugar free alternative to traditional jelly or jam. Smucker's provided a perfect solution with their sugar free products. I am particularly fond of blueberries and their sugar free blueberry preserves are just what I wanted. They go on my bagel every morning. Thanks Smucker's.
Great and taste as good as jelly/jams that use sugar. People use too much sugar, if they tried some of these, they wouldn't go back to the sugar ones.
these are sugarfree so they are lower-calories and safe for diabetics. blueberry is my fave but local Safeways don't carry that flavor. AND Wally's prices for Smuckers jams are over a buck cheaper than Safeway on the flavors that both stores carry!
So glad you still have this item in stock. It's really good and it is Weight Watchers friendly. Wish you still had the Dickinson's sugar free cherry preserves. That was great but I noticed that you no longer carry that item. Only the fruit one, which has more calories and "points". I still bought it because I am careful of the "portion size".
OMGosh! I was soo excited to get my SF Blueberry preserves. My first time trying this product. I was blown away w the great flavor! I stirred the preserves & it is very creamy & smooth. I tried another brand & it was like trying to stir & spread jell-o! Thanks Smuckers
The flavor on this is pretty good. I've been keto for 3 years so I got this based on the nutrition label that on the website states there are 2 grams of fiber and so only 3 net carbs (yay). When the product arrived I found that the label doesn't list any fiber so it's actually the full 5 net carbs making it really difficult for me to include in my diet unless I cut out all other carbs (which I save for veggies!). Definitely good for someone on a low carb diet or someone trying to cut back on regular sugar but still higher in carbs for someone on strict keto.
you will be hard pressed to find any fruit in this jelly style concoction. i bought two jars and gave one to my local food pantry after opening the other. fruitless basically so ''preserves'' is a real misnomer. i mixed the opened jar with a 1/2 jar of the usually delicious and fruit filed regular Smuckers Blueberry Preserves just to make this usable. i called the Smuckers hotline and registered comments with a very pleasant lady who offered to send coupons as an ''i'm sorry'' from them. nice jesture but the coupons have yet to arrive-- so i'll see. i had the feeling she had heard my complaints about fruitless/ sugar free preserve products before. even the taste was mediocre for a Smuckers product so i won't try again-- with the exception of the sugar free orange marmalade-- it was acceptable and had --some-- tangy orange rind in it.
I guess what can you expect with 'sugar free' jam... Its like jello with lots of Splenda. This has a very dilluted blueberry flavor... I was really looking for a 'no added sugar' option but Smuckers does not seem to make such a thing so thought I'd try this. Really not what I'd want in a jam, but I guess if all you can have is sugar free then it's a good option, although it technically contains 1g per 2 tblsps, so not *totally* sugar free. I will say the raspberry tastes the best out of the flavors I've tried.
The jelly is great. The packaging was ridiculous. The box was large enough for a small elephant and there were only twenty-four jars of jelly in it. The jars were wrapped four to a bundle with no packing between them, so fortunately only one broke. They should have been individually wrapped and put in a smaller box. There was a lot of extra packing in the too large box but not enough to keep things from shifting around. Half the cheap and skimpy tape was loose and the box was barely held together and not closed when it arrived. I just lifted the packets of four out. Ridiculous.
