My husband and I bought this set last summer & we love it. It fits perfect on our porch. We enjoy sitting out there in the summer time & even eat dinner out there. We plan to use this set as long as possible.
Last year, I picked up this set at my local WalMart to use on our very own "bistro." I loved it, loved it, loved it! In fact, so much so that a few weeks ago, I ordered another set for our back "portal." They are beautiful, sturdy, and our first set made it through the winter needing nothing but soap and water to make us happy again. Thank you so much!
This is a really nice bistro set that is very well made and looks like it cost much more than it did. It was extremely well packaged and the only assembly required is attaching the table top to the legs. The chair cushions are an added bonus. (We had considered the wicker-look set, but reviewers had indicated some problems with quality, and cushions weren't included.) Free site-to-store shipping adds to the value of this set. It looks great on our sun porch and can be used outdoors as well. Very satisfied with this purchase!
I purchased this bistro set at my local store at the end of the summer last year (2007). It stayed on our front porch until cold weather hit. I brought it out of the garage a few weeks ago and it still looks great. It is sturdy and attractive. I like the orange/red striped cushions - they are colorful but classy. I'm glad I purchased this set. The cushions dry quickly when wet and still look like new.
Reviews accurate. Metal furniture is questionable in terms of comfort, but this set is. Chic. Sturdy. Assembly? Just attach table to base in minutes. Comfy cushions. Bought an inexpensive quality 6' market umbrella from Amazon in navy. Nice complement to the cushions. My husband provided unsolicited positive reviews when he saw it set up on our small deck: "This is nice. It's comfortable." Thank you for an affordable, decorative bistro set.
Sturdy and stylish for the great sale price. Chair width fits all, and table diameter accomodates 2 table settings with plenty of elbow room! You do not need to assemble the chairs -- only the table which is a breeze to do. The cushion pads are nicely made and are a plus in that one needs not order them as an extra purchase. I had the items shipped to my home, and they arrived in one large box in excellant condition because they were packaged very securely! Love the blackish brown oil rubbed metal finish, too! I know we will enjoy this set for many years to come. Thanks Walmart!
Overall the product was excellent for the price paid. Very heavy and substantial. The table was simple to put together and the cushions are more than adequate and a plus for the price. Only drawback is that packing could be a bit better. One of the legs of one of the chairs came a bit bent, but not a big deal (slightly bowed inward and I think from shipping. The box was pretty beat up when it arrived.) It would also be helpful if the table top had a hole in the middle for a small umbrella. The legs do have a place for one. I purchased a half umbrella so it doesn't really matter anyway, but would have been a problem if I didn't have this arrangent. Would definitely buy again.
I am 8.5 months pregnant and I put this product together myself, it was very easy and light weight. It looks really nice on our front porch. I would recommend this product to those of you who want something nice looking and not very expensive.
I wish they had these in the store. I had been shopping for months for a bistro set and wanted something out of the ordinary. I am thrilled at the price, the quality and the uniqueness of this item. I just wish I had been able to pick it up in the store rather than pay to have it shipped. There was some minor scratching on the legs that had to have occurred prior to packaging because the item was packed extremely well; but, hey, what are Sharpies for? I just kind of feel like I shouldn't have to do that on a brand new product.
Bistro chair & table set was packaged properly, no damage during shipping. Site to Store saved shipping cost. Bistro set was set up for front porch. Compliments the front porch setting. Nice look for the price. Only wish the cushions were a little bit thicker. Otherwise a good product.
