This roaster was exactly what I had expected. I would call it small rather than medium, but it's the size I wanted as I live alone and don't need the large size that I used to use. It is heavyweight and sturdy. I expect it to last for years. Thank you, WalMart for supplying exactly what I was looking for! I used site-to-store delivery for the first time. It didn't take too long and saved me the shipping charge. All-in-all a great purchase for me.
I actually bought two, in different sizes. The rack is a bit funky but everything works fine and cleans up perfectly. I have bigger ones but those are reserved for really big roasts on the holidays. I'm not a professional cook, but an advanced amateur.
Baked Cornish hens in my new nordicware roasting pan and have moved from a good cook, to "AWSOME" status. Good, even, roasting equates to an evenly cooked bird, thus making it more tender by retaining it natural juices.
I needed this kind of pan because I realized that the one I had was going in the trash. Everything I cooked in that pan stuck, and of course I do not like for my food to stick to pans, dishes. So I ordered this one from Walmart and it works fine.
This a nice roaster and seems to be well made but it is too small in length and width and too deep. Also, it is not really red; it's kind of brown in color. I am going to return it.
The product I ordered I expected to be a large siz e roaster. What I received was what I would call a medium size roaster. It was a lot smaller than expected. It is very durable , but not what I was looking for.
