I drive a 25 year old Volvo and recently we had a ice storm in our area. I stupidly got too over zealous with the ice scraper and left LOTS of very visible marks in the clear coat of my paint on both the hood and trunk. I spent a few dollars on this stuff and with a little bit of elbow grease, I was able to make the scratches disappear! There are a few faint ones left but you have to be standing in the right light to even see them. I couldn't believe it worked so well, especially for the low price.
I was skeptical, but at the low price, figured I did not have much to lose. WOW!!!! This stuff really works. I had a 6" by 2" scuff mark on my candy apple red car. I used a soft damp rag to apply this product for about 5 minutes. I then used an old t-shirt to buff it out. The scuff mark was totally gone. I was very happy and highly recommend this Turtle wax product for light scuffs or scratches..
OMG! This deserves 10 stars! I have been driving around for quite some time with a bright orange paint mark on the passenger side mirror of my PEARL WHITE Lexus. I googled different products and not a whole lot of them state that it will remove paint thatâs been transferred onto your car. I read the reviews for this one and someone used it for just that, so I decided to try it. It was only $2.50 so why not! I am extremely pleased with the results and it took less than 5 minutes to get it off! I highly recommend!!!
I wanted to remove my emblems on the back of my car. So, I busted out some goof off and used a plastic scraper and then a rag to get the emblems off and the adhesive left over. This took the emblems off but also made the paint dull and scratched. I then bought some Turtle Wax Scratch and Swirl remover and applied a few coats and when I used my micro fiber rag to wipe it off....the paint looked great! I was very happy with the results!
Worked for me. Was skeptical because of the price but I figured Id try it and it worked. I used for the scratches on my door handles and it removed them! I was surprised.
I have a black car and I side swiped my Mom's white fence really hard and of course the paint got on my car. I followed the directions on the bottle and about a good thrity almost forty minutes later my car looked like nothing happened. Worked wonders for me. I'll post pictures from a snapchat video I made after the incident happened with the paint on my car and after I used this product.
Ive tried several other products to hide some scratches on my car and none work like this turtle wax. This stuff and a buffer equals a new paint job look. Check it out!
Works great! I was sick of these ridiculous guys giving me prices in the hundreds for pencil line scratches. Now, to be frank, once my car gets to be 5 years old, I stop the constant maintenance on appearances and only worry about the mechanical — meaning that I don't even care about any scratches no matter how big or deep. Now, I just got my car in November though, and I bought it brand new, so of course that hairline scratch bothered me. There's no way to avoid it because if you're parking anywhere in a public lot for shopping, dining, or whatever — it'll happen. It'll happen if someone parks too close and doesn't care, or if someone is careless with the shopping carts, or any number of reasons. Anyway, I used this after reading up on the difference between wax, polish, and rubbing compound. I got this, and got a car wash, and with just very little pressure I started rubbing it in where the scratch was. Immediately it was gone (and then I put a thin layer of wax on afterwards). Now, I do want to say my scratch was a pencil line and superficial, and only about 3 inches long (although it doesn't matter how long it is, what matters is how deep). I don't know how well this will work for deep scratches, but it worked great for mine.
I had been reading reviews on a product to take off scuffs and found this product. My luggage has scratched my rear bumper too many times and thought it'd give it a try and the scuffs came out! I was super excited! I also had what looked like some sore of sap on the roof of my car for about 4-5 years that I never thought would come out. I tried it there and the sap was removed! Super stoked! I definitely recommend this product!
This stuff works great. It never hurts the cars clearcoat paint
