Works great New Tire Look

Overt the years I have used many tire dressings. Spray on which at least did not make a mess of your hands, Armorall which did not work at all. I was using Maguires at one point. It was very good but messy. This comes with an applicator which none of the others did and seems to work very well even after being driven in the rain. One picture was dry the other after driving in the rain, you can barley tell the difference. It seems to last about as long as the others and your hands do not get quite as messy. I would recommend it. The price is a bit lower than some of the competitors. Overall a good product.

If you are (like me) the kind of guy who is obsessed with your tires and don't like to have dusty tires, and always pay for premium car wash, this tire wet gel is the best choice for you. I have an unlimited pass of premium washing at MisterCarwash and since they are close to our place, I go to their washing tunnel almost every week. Every time they spray all types of cleaners on my car and promise that the car will hold it for a month! But after a week, they are all off, especially the tires! They will be so dirty. But from the time that I apply this gel on my tires, the tires are shiny for at least a month! And depending on the weather it can go up to 2 months. It is very easy to use, but it is important to know that it cannot clean the tires. I have to wash the tires first, then apply this gel on the sponge and slowly wipe the tires. The applicator sponge is also provided in the box. It was a little hard to use the sponge at first, but I got used to it. And that's it, it will take about half an hour to completely dry out and then it will bring a wet and glossy look to the tires which holds for weeks. Make sure do not start driving before it is completely dried. This gel is also weather resistant. I highly recommend it and will definitely buy it again myself.

I am reviewing the Black Magic TIRE WET GEL and I have just the vehicles to test and review the product. The tires on my SUV have been on the vehicles for several years and I have not done a lot of scrubbing to keep the tires clean. After washing and applying a coat of Tire Wet Gel on the SUV I am happy to report that it is easy to apply and leaves the tire with a shine that looks as good if not better than a brand new tire right out of the tire store. Some of the benefits of the product that are listed on the package are: • MINIMAL SLING: “The formula adheres to the tires to produce minimal sling.” (It is recommended to let it set for 15 minutes before driving the vehicle) • LONG LASTING INTENSITY: “Weather & rinse resistant formula to keep your tires looking black and glossy for weeks, no days.” • SCUFF DEFENSE: “Self-Healing formula that automatically fills in small scuffs & maintains a smooth, black shine.” • CLEAR, RESIDUE-FREE SHINE: Black Magic Tire Wet Gel has a clear formula to leave behind no white powdery mess-just pure, wet shin There are two methods of coating the tire. One is by wiping it on the tire with the sponge that is included with the Tire Gel. The second method is by dabbing the gel on the tire. The difference is that dabbing results in a deeper shine. As I mentioned, seeing the difference after applying the Black Magic Tire Wet Gel to the tires on my SUV, I do highly recommend the product. It has enhanced the look of my vehicle and should enhance the look of yours.

Grease-free Wet shine that holds up

My days of car detailing are long over (detailing a car with young kids is like brushing your teeth while eating Oreo's), yet I needed to clean up a car for resale. I went back to my old trusted products, including the Black Magic gel - nothing I've used on tires works better than this stuff. One quick, 5 minute, application added a grand to the value of my car and the shine has held up well (10 days and counting). The only negative, is that the sponge that came with the gel didn't make it through four tires - no worries, use any household sponge or rag and you're back in business.

Black Magic Wet Tire sure lives up to its name! It give gorgeous results! Time will tell how long those results last. I'll try to post back in a couple of months. I picked the dab-on version of this product over the spray on version, and I'm glad I did! Dabbing onto the tire with the included application sponge sure makes for an easy and clean application! These tires on this truck have never been dressed before, and are 3 years old. They have a built-in ridge both by the tread and the rim allowing for very simple, neat application! The product goes on smooth and and seems to have the consistency of latex paint. It is a clear gel though, not a black paint. It only took a few minutes to apply and the difference is day and night! WOW! Nice product, easy to apply, looks fantastic! Get some!

I received the Black Magic Tire Wet Gel, 16 oz. Tire Shine last week and used it on my tires for shine. Make sure you follow the instructions and clean your tires of all dirt and grease before applying. I scrubbed mine and used a little rubbing alcohol. After it dried I applied a thin coat and let it sit overnight. There is a little sling that comes off on your first drive. Sling is cast off that gets on your vehicle. This product has given the best shine my tires have ever had.

I've been using the Black Magic Tire Wet Gel for quite a few years. My dad recommended it to me back when I first got an interest in detailing my vehicles. If you want the side walls of your tires to shine and look amazing, there really isn't anything better than this. This stuff is easy to apply and very effective. It usually lasts, under daily driving conditions, about a week, in my experience, before it starts to fade. If you let the car sit parked in a garage, it would probably last a really long time. This stuff is really easy to apply. Of course you'll want to start with a thoroughly cleaned tire. You just squeeze out a bit on to the included sponge and dab it on to the side of your tires while spreading it out. It's that easy. Then just let it dry for at least 15 minutes if you don't want it getting slung all over the side of your car. If there's a lot of extra gel on the side of your tire, the centrifugal force of the tire spinning will just sling it everywhere, so best to let it dry. The Black Magic Tire Wet Gel looks fantastic when applied correctly. It's one of those things that is an absolute must if you want your ride looking its best. A full bottle is enough for several applications of 4 tires. Of course your mileage may vary depending on the size of your tires. If you applied it once a week, it would probably last a couple months at least. The sponges don't last forever, but you can apply this stuff with almost anything. A rag or pretty much any sponge. I have never had anything bad to say about this product. It's unquestionably a 5 star product, especially given the price you pay for it. It's very reasonably priced for how well it works. The only thing I would caution is you can apply it to the side walls of your motorcycles tire only. Do not, under any circumstances, apply it to the rounded section of a motorcycle tire that comes into contact with the road. It would undoubtedly result in a crash. Actually, as a general rule, you shouldn't apply it to any surface that requires traction to keep your vehicle on the road.

The Black Magic Tire Wet Gel is and advanced technology that provides minimal sling, long lasting intensity, scuff defense and a clear, residue-free shine to your tires. Recommended application is to clean and thoroughly dry tires. Load gel to the supplied applicator sponge. The sponge is a two part sponge! One side of the sponge is for dabbing the gel to the tires to get into tire lettering and the other side of the sponge is smooth for applying on smooth tires and thinner applications. Allow product to dry 15 minutes before driving to prevent sling of the product. Dabbing the gel provides a higher shine but will increase the chance of product sling. The gel is said to last up to 8 weeks. I have not had the product long enough to verify that. One thing the product doesn't recommend is a temperature needed to apply the gel. I had a tough time doing this review do to having rain and snow for the last week or so and highs only in the low 40's. The gel was thick and hard to spread evenly and I tore the sponge trying to apply to tire. I would suggest the temperature outside should be at least 70 degrees or above much like applying wax. Once applied the tires did have a very nice shine. Again if the temperature was warmer the application would have been very easy. I recommend this gel!

I applied this tire shine to clean tires and was initially impressed by the sponge and the gel. It's nice to be able to get a directed shine without overspray onto the wheels or car. The sponge is easy to use and the gel doesn't cover much but it covers well. Unfortunately, the results aren't stellar. A week after applying this shine and the tires look wet -- the same as they did when I applied the product. The product did not flow or absorb into the rubber at all. I used the "dab" method on one tire and the "wipe" method on another. Neither of the tires look as nice as when I used my old spray product. There's a rippled sheen on the tire surface that looks like the wet gel. The really bad part is that the surface of my tires is now sticky enough to hold leaves and little bugs. That's not a feature I look for in a tire shine.

I own a classic muscle car. (not pictured) Part of the fun of ownership is taking my car to shows and showing off and meeting other folks with similar interest. I have used a lot of these products over the years and to be honest I only polish up the tires when I am going to be at a show or cruise-in. The first thing I noticed was the instruction not to get this gel on any part of the tire tread. Ok, then there is a warning about sling off. The instructions say to dab the product onto the tire. That doesn't work at all. It will go on super thick. So after a thorough cleaning of the tire, I wiped the product on getting as thin a coat as I could to avoid SLING OFF of the product. I did not like the resulting shine. It is too much shine, but maybe that is me. It says to wait 15 minutes before driving. I waiting 18hours and it completely slung off from 1/4 to 1/2 inch of the outer edge of the application. It has now been 24 hours and it still feels gooey to touch. I am tossing this out. I prefer a clean and shine in one application product that will not make the tread slick and slippery.
