I replaced a set of Hankook AllWeather tires with these on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- these tires are awesome! Driving in the Colorado snow and slush is so much better now - smooth and quiet ride on the dry roads too. While more expensive than other tires I can honestly say they're worth it.
Awesome tires, went with 265/75/16's on my 2016 Frontier. Replaced the Yokohama Geolandar A/Ts that were on it. Much better ride, the Yokohama's were super rough and wouldn't stay balanced, might as well have been super swampers. Thought my suspension was wore out but after switching to my open country's, my truck rides like a Cadillac.
First off if you read the 1 star reviews before reading the 5 star reviews like myself, you might be a little worried, but don't be. I have these on my 2017 Tundra crew max TRD Pro and they currently have 89,563 miles on them and numerous screws, bolts, and a piece of rebar, amazingly no air has ever leaked out? I live in Florida where we have sugar sand and a lot of rain not to mention a lot of horrible drivers. I have never gotten stuck with these tires and they have never slid in the rain until about a week ago now that they have so many miles on them. They are very responsive and stop on a dime, for some reason here in Florida old people just love to pull out in front of you, so responsive tires that can stop quickly are essential. One last thing, I don't understand peoples obsession with road noise and all terrain tires, these tires are made for B.A. people that are going to be putting these on there lifted B.A. vehicles. Remember these are for go not show, you know who I'm talking about. So if you're worried about road noise you should probably get a little family car or a better stereo system. Seriously though I don't even notice any road noise. Bottom line these tires are amazing in every way.
These tires came with my 2008 Dodge Charger. I live in New York City and if you've ever driven a car here, let alone parking it on the street and having to move it twice a week for street cleaning, you will understand the value of a good tire. There are more potholes and raised manhole covers on NYC streets than most other cities in the world! I drive fast which would normally destroy a set of tires in about 20,000 miles do to the street conditions. That being said, these relatively inexpensive tires stood up to 56,000 miles of Big Apple abuse! I just got a new set and I'm hoping they do as well as the last ones.
Have run these on 2 Jeeps from 2021 and Wet Roads performance is Terrible; otherwise, a good tire.. Really liked 11.50s for Load "C". Have now resulted in Tire "Gooving" to cut additional edges hoping to improve WET and did get a slight improvement.
I bought these tires to replace My Michelin Energy saver tires on my honda hybrid. Good tires noise, traction, comfort here great the problem was l lost 4 to 5 miles a gallon. For me that's not good for a hybrid .
I feel that the tread sidewall pattern is Miss represented in the picture after having the tires installed the sidewall is barely raised at all yet in the pictures it looks very aggressive and seems to be more than you actually get in person at least for the tire size that I had which was 265.70 17 tread lug side walls are not functional at all on this tire more of a visual aesthetic
Do not buy these tires the come apart with 17,000 mile on them highway driving and leave you stranded Then all they could say is take them to a Toyo dealer it's kind of hard when you don't have any room to haul them when you have the bed full When you spend 500 a tire you would expect more out of them They do look good but the rest out of a premium tire is not worth it So if you have the money to throw away get them but I highly recommend buying a different brand Luckily I was able to get all 4 tires after being changed to try to get them warranty I will let everyone know how that goes
This is my 4th set of open country AT through the base to newest designs on my past 2 dodge ram diesels. Wear is even and traction is great on dry road or in light mudd and gravel. Where I see them fall flat on their face on the new AT/3 is going on a round about at low speeds the rear end slips upon light acceleration on lightly wet conditions. In Snow they float around and hard to track straight at speeds above 45 mph. Ice is a skating rink unless I manage my actions very very carefully. A recent problem is the last set of 4 ten ply load E AT/3, so far 2 of the tires had blown out sidewalls at 15k and 20k. Plenty of tread left to get through summer but I'm having a hard time trusting toyo after such failures. Thankfully I abused my AAA tow rights and have sat in the mountains of Oregon twice now waiting for a tow. The suited vehicle is a 2006 Dodge ram diesel with 6 speed. I don't do any heavy hauling other that keeping the fuel above half tank. Frustrating that my tire vendor hasn't validated this batch as mfg defect and charged me for replacement of both left and right tires to keep tread ratio correct fir the differential. I have photos of both tires and receipts id love to share with toyo. Sad I've been buying toyo since early 2000 and now quality has become a real concern..
Feels like zero traction in wet weather. Worst set of tires I have ever run on my Tacoma, and probably the worst set I've ever had period. I very much regret my purchase on these. Will be throwing them away and buying something else
