this time stays in balance ,requires min.effort on our part. we rotate, balance and check tire pressures on as regular schedule. i travel all the time and i feel very confident that my wife will have no tire problems. excellent in any weather, raid, snow or extreme fla heat.the best tire you could buy without exception.all my vehicles have michelin tires on them.my ford dually get over 100k on the michelins it has.great tire, great quality.absolutely these tires do not cost any more to buy tan any other upper line tire and pays dividends for a long time.thanks for a great tire....
I have over 170,000 miles on my car and am on only my second set of Cross Terrain SUV - I know the time is nearing for new tires, but these tires just keep giving. I recently lost my job and I am so thankful for these very reliable tires that I know will get me to interviews and where I need to go until I can afford to buy new ones, which I will buy the same tires again and again. Thank you Michelin!
We are on our second set of Cross Terrains on our 1999 Ford Explorer. These tires replaced the Brand X tires that were standard on the truck when new. We immediatley noticed the smoother ride and more responsive handling. The big surprise was the improved traction in wet road conditions. What is even more surprising is how well the tires were balanced. Only 1 or 2 of the smallest weights are ever required when the tires are balanced. This, I believe, is a true testament of the build quality of the tires.
Our family has 3 SUV's and we have Cross Terrains on all of them. They have been great tires with excellent road handling in both dry and wet conditions. We also travel the Cascade Mountains in Oregon on a regular basis and they do just fine in the snow. Wear has been excellent with 60,000 miles plus on tires. Absolutely no problems. I would highly recommend these tires.
Tires are mounted on an all-wheel-drive/all-the-time SUV. I've travelled on-road and off-road in snow, desert, mud, rain, and even on rocks, and always had good grip. 5 years, 40K miles, and they still have tread (seem to last forever). Only complaint is that they are a little-bit (but only a little-bit) noisy on the highway. The way I push this car, I torture these tires, but they never balk!
I drive my car everyday to work and for all my errands after work and on weekends. I hesitated to spend a little more for these tires but it was the best decision I made. I read numerous reviews on various options and all kept steering me back to these tires. I brag about them every chance I get. I have not found one thing I can say that I don't like about them. I would purchase these tires again in a heartbeat.
These tires get incredibly good traction new & 75% worn they still handle almost as good as new - and they wear like iron! Typically, compared to other long-wearing tires, once they are worn, you lose traction & comfort - never has happened to me with a Michelin.
I tow my Jeep Commander behind my 40 ft motorhome, I have traveled from Florida, to California and from the Up of Michigan to Austin texas this year. The tires are really wareing well . The tires that the Jeep came with did not do nearly as good as these one's. They cupped and wore on the inside these tires are much better.
Sadly my CrossTerrains have come to the end of their journey. They have provided an excellent comfortable ride both on and off conventional roads. Whether I ride on rocky country backroads or the smooth sailing highways, these tires have out performed other brands that I have mistakenly purchased for other vehicles. Michelin is the only company that I will place my family's safety with.
After only 29,000 miles, all four need replacing! I have always gotten 60,000 out of Michelin. I am a pastor and I drive my truck correctly. I have also rotated every 5,000 miles. I cannot afford Michelin if they only last 29,000 miles! What is sad is that I have been buying Michelin for twenty years. I sure wish someone from Michelin would talk with me! I cannot get anywhere with local dealers. Doc.
