I've used Pennzoil conventional in just about every mopar I've ever owned including my current cars, '08 Durango (86k miles) and '05 neon (84k miles). Despite negative hearsay seen on online forums as well as in person I've never had any issues with it. I will continue to use it and would recommend to anyone!
My Mom used this oil for yrs and yrs in her old Crown Vic 2 door, and thats all she would use The car life was extended forever she swore I believe her!!!
The vehicle that we buy this oil for is more than 25 years old; in past experiences, the synthetic oil does not work as well as this conventional oil. Pennzoil is a trusted name so it is purchased with that factor in mind.
Rolled 5500 miles on the current pilot change and the oil currently doesn't show any discoloration. I'm running this in a 2016 ram 1500 4x4 5.7 hemi. Mixture of weekend boat towing, country/hwy mileage. Current fuel mileage averages 16.8mpg
Little pricey but good oil
Came on time and was packed to make the trip...
Pennzoil 10W-30 and SAE30 is the only oil I buy anymore. I have tried various oils over the years and have chosen to stick with Pennzoil. It works good in all of my gasoline powered equipment and vehicles. It keeps the engines running cool and clean.
My truck is 16 yrs old with 158,000 miles. I have been using Pennzoil since my first oil change. The oil still looks clean in the engine today. The Mechanic who did my alignment said he wa impressed with the engine performance. Asked if I wanted to sell my truck to ask him first.
i only recieved 5 quarts of oil instead of 5-5quart jugs-paid 104.95 and got 5 quart bottles not good busness
This pack of 12 quarts of oil was not factory sealed. It had some kind of 3rd party tape on it. Further, upon opening it, one of the quarts was in backward, and had leaked. Can't believe Sam's Club would send me out something that was not new.
