I love the comforter! It's very comfortable. Beware though the black on the front is kind of a washed out black and underneath it's regular black. It still looks great though! The shams are just regular black shams nothing special. I used them and you can't see your pillow through them. For the price you can't beat it!
Bought this for my daughter and she LOVED it and so do I...it looks great in her bed and it doesn't feel like that cheap silky material and doesn't slide off her bed every night! I kind of wish I would have bought this for myself! =)
This comforter is exactly as pictured. I am very pleased with it. The Shams were thin, but you could not see the white pillow underneath, so I am fine with them. I have included a photo. I think my room redo came out great. thanks Walmart for a inexpensive item. My room looks expensive.
I am very satisfied with this comforter! The shams are thin, but overall the set it pretty and well worth the $35. Full/Queen fit my queen bed perfectly.
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my college age daughter. She loved it from the moment she saw it. It is beautiful, and very soft! Very much worth the value. I had it shipped to the store, and service there was also wonderful.
The comforter was beautiful and for the price it was just perfect. I probably would have paid twice that for the bed spread itself. The pillow shams on the other hand are not only plain black like the other reviews say, but they are actually SEE THROUGH they are so cheap! I mean the super cheap sheet sets have better pillow cases than these things. They had to be thrown out. But overall for how cheap everything is together it's worth the price because you can still buy separate shams and make it a good deal.
Very happy with my purchase. Comforter is of good quality for the price and looks good. The only drawback is not having links in which I could purchase matching accessories. Otherwise, daughter loves it!
I ended up returning this comforter, not because of the quality but because the purple did not match the color I had in mind when I made the purchase. The comforter itself was pretty, soft and seemed to be made well so I was disappointed that it wasn't quite what I had in mind.
Okay so I was so excited about this comforter, when i got it it looked exactly as pictured. I decided to wash it with cold water like people suggested. When i took it out of the wash it didn't bleed like people said, there was weird brown smears and dots on it!! I quickly went to the computer to see this happened to a couple other people who commented. I started to rub the spots with detergent to see that it was coming off like a stain! I quickly went to the laundry mat with stain fighting detergent and this other stain removing stuff I found. Most of the smears came off, but the dots didn't. It soo crazy to me, what was it?? I feel like there was dirt inside of the cotton or something, its really weird! Maybe some of them aren't like that, but i wouldn't take the risk! Also the cotton starts to bunch up in the corners, which is kind of obvious for a cheap comforter, but after washing it, it should not look like i dragged it thro dirt... all i can say is weird!!!
i bought a similar comforter from Walmart and washed it before i put it on my dauhters bed. And it came out of the wash all shiny as if the colors ran . I washed it as per instructions. It was the same brand as this one ,just a different color.
