upon opening the packaging I thought it was going to be flat as a pancake! But gave it a few hours and it fluffed up! Absolutely love it!
The wife and son both wanted one of these. They have old body pillows that have crushed down over time. These hold their shape well and are totally comfortable!
This memory foam pillow is wonderful. I didn't think I was going to like it but after he fully came to shape it is wonderful. I have used it for over a week now and it comes back to shape every morning and I have slept sooooo much better since I have been using it. It is a little heavy but that is nothing compared to the sleep I get now.
i have this pillow for about 3 weeks now and have no complain whatsoever. i strongly recommend this item.
This is a heavy pillow I love it.i got it to sit up in bed with to watch tv.i put it against my wall and it works great.i would not use it to put in between my legs or anything it's to big for that.it keeps it's shape good too.
I've read the other reviews about the small package, smell, etc. Well, this was not the case for us! My wife is very sensitive to smell and it was in our bed the night we picked it up. No smell and a great value at the price we paid!
When I first opened the package I was sure this pillow was going to be a dud. After sitting for two hours it was still flat as a board. Then overnight it expanded and now it's huge. A lot fluffier than I expected. Even if this looses form and deflates over time there will still be plenty of fluff left. The only downside to it is the smell. Now it's foam and with any foam pillow, mattress, etc you could ever buy it will have a smell. After about 5 days it does still have a slight scent. I expected this and have no doubt the smell will be gone completely by next week. If it's not I'll report back! I haven't opened it up to look inside but it feels like the foam is in pieces. I don't know how well this will hold up in the long run. I guess only time will tell.
These pillows come compressed in small rolls. It took a couple days for them to fully expand. They smelled strongly of chemicals and needed to be in a place where they could air out befor using. It seems that they are made of shredded memory foam, and not solid pieces. One end of one of the pillows I ordered has less shredded foam than the other end. Maybe I can shift it so that the foam is evenly distributed throughout, but I haven't tried it yet. The covers are zippered so they can be removed and washed, but I will make some cases that match my bedding that can also be washed. They are a good size, lengthwise and width wise. But they are not as lofty as I was expecting. Still, they are comfy.
In my opinion this is not what a body pillow should be like. It is too heavy to be comfortable to curl up around, as I like to do with a body pillow. I think cumbersome might be a good word to describe it. I thought it would be light and flexible being foam but that was not the case. It said to give it 5 to 7 days to return to it's shape after being unwrapped so I waited over a week before giving up on it and then I returned it to our local Walmart and found one in the store which is light and comfortable for half the price.
The pillow is way too much for me. I thought it was going to be a bit softer, but it is rather hard and takes a while to sink in or around it. It is more like a giant log!! There's no need to fluff it up after use as the directions told, because it never really leaves an impression! The outside is nice and soft but I really can't get compfy with this pillow at all. Sorry.
