After replacing the tires on my 22.5 aluminum rims , there were bad swirls and glue remaining on the wheels. Tried 2 other products that didn't do anything. My friend told me to try mother's which I did. The difference was amazing! Brought my wheels back to that brand new look. I recently ordered 2 more cans , and when received one of the cans split during shipping. I contacted Mother's and they emailed me back immediately that they were sending a replacement. I want to thank Brand Rep Jim Dvorak for his quick and professional response. Class act company all around.
I was informed that this Aluminum polish works great for yellowed and fogged plastic headlight covers and decided to give it a try and what do you know, it did great with less work than kits and other methods I've seen used.. Just rub it in well as you would any compound or polish and continue until it dries and then wipe it down with a clean dry towel or rag, I didn't even use any power tools on them and they were bad to begin with, a 2008 car with that type of maintenance never done since I purchased the car new.
I added an upgraded exhaust with stainless exhaust tips. Looks great until the black soot takes over. I washed it and it still looked rough. I used Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish and BAM they look brand new again. I just used a microfiber cloth and with a little pressure work it in. It dries pretty fast so I do one top and then I buff it off right after. Amazing and quick. If you are willing, keep a microfiber in your car and give them a quick wipe after driving and the good looks will last a long time. Just don't touch the exhaust - from experience. :-)
I saw a YouTube video about this stuff and figured I had nothing to lose. I have a ‘98 Corolla (original owner) and needed new headlights but used this instead. Speechless! When I showed my BF the before and after pictures, he thought I'd had the headlights replaced.
After doing an extensive research on the Internet, I decided to attempt polishing my wheels with the Mag & Aluminum Polish. There was extreme oxidation on all the chrome on my Avalanche. And honestly had absolutely no faith it would ever shine again. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!! This product saved my chromes shiny life! It was easy to apply and I used my drill with a the Mothers Power Cone attachment which also didn't disappoint! Highly recommend! If you are skeptical about this product were using it on your chrome wheels, don't be! Use this product!
I have used the Aluminum Polish on my suspension, stainless exhaust system, etc to keep everything show ready. Easy to use. Results are truly amazing. If you are seeking a perfect shine to any uncoated metals try this first.
This is the equivalent of a miracle in a jar for 50-70 year old yellowed plastics like vintage two-tone sewing machines with fancy chrome trim, knobs with ugly yellowed plastic windows. I use mother's polish to make everything look brand new like it just left the show room floor. It is my go-to especially for plastics to make them look like glass or crystal. The attached pictures are of the before, during and after of a plastic name badge of a 1950's sewing machine that was made in japan.
I purchased this product to clean aluminum panels along the top of my cargo trailer and it really performed well. A little goes a long way. I didn't think one container would be enough but it was more than enough. The panels are about 14 feet on both sides and maybe 8 inches deep. I have plenty left to clean and shine the diamond guard across the front. If you use this product while on a ladder, and it falls off, expect the tub to break! Mine did and I had to move it to another container. It needs to be repackaged so that it will not break when it is dropped on cement. That was the only issue I had. I would recommend Mothers Mag and Aluminum cleaner for all your polishable metals that are listed on the label. Great product :)
I bought this yesterday, and works great, but the lid does not fit the tub. First time I bought the 10 oz, and will stick to the smaller tubs from now on! What a waste, make a lid that fits!
Product came in a bag, completely trash, so I had to put the product left in a new container, the product was ok, but the bad packaging ending in a broken container really terrible experience, I will not be a surprise if Im not the only one who had this bad experience
