Quick, easy, works great and now the headlights are brighter than ever.
The product works as advertised and you don't have to be a mechanic to use it. I refinished the lights on two vehicles: my ten year old truck had a slight haze on the headlights; my 11 year old van was so foggy you couldn't see the bulbs. The truck was restored to factory new. The van was at least 90% new (very slight haze wouldn't come off). Application is simple. I masked around the headlights / fog lights with painter's tape, used the drill applicator on the large areas and a cloth diaper on smaller areas. After applying the cleaner, just wipe it off with the provided cloth. The whole process for both cars took about 45 minutes. There was enough cleaner left over for several more uses. This product works great and I would highly recommend it to anyone that needs a headlight restoration kit.
I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS USING A CORDED DRILL AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW.....IT WORKED GREAT!!!! RESTORED MY 2004 TOYOTA HEADLIGHTS TO ALMOST SHOWROOM CONDITION!!!! EXCELLENT PRODUCT THAT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My husband and I just purchased a vehicle that is 14 years old. I drove it for the first time at night a couple days ago and couldn't see anything with the headlights. Looking at pricing for replacing the headlights they were anywhere from $79 and up for each one. As my husband and I aren't made of money, I decided to that we should get the Meguiar's and give it a try. I figured if it didn't work as well as we were hoping that's ok it's only $20. So we get it home and my husband starts working on the headlights and about an hour and a half later the headlights look almost brand new and the lights work great. I can't wait to take it out on the road and see how much better the lights work! This product has saved us a lot of money! As long as you follow the directions you shouldn't have a problem with this working, unless the problem is on the inside of the headlight.
So, my headlight was burned by goof off (chemical to remove stickers, residue, etc.) accidently (long story). I was skeptical about buying anything to do it myself because of the damage on the lens and the expensive of replacing it (it's on a 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI). After reading many reviews on this Meguiar's One-Step Headlight Restoration Kit, I decided to give it a try. I think it took me about 1-1.5hrs to do ( I am very thorough in everything I do. Most people could probably do it much faster). I was AMAZED at the finished result!! I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone wanting to restore their headlight to virtually new condition. Very simple instructions and process BUT make sure you read the instructions carefully. I wish I could post pics so you can see. The burn was very, very bad and you could not see through the lens. Now, the lens is crystal clear.

Because of the name, I may have been overly expectant of the results. While the product did clear some of the cloudiness on the headlights, I was expecting much more (again, because of the name Meguiar). Would I recommend it?? If the headlights are not badly clouded over. I would say it works.
1st, product worked on haze and light scratches; Jury is still out whether the haze will return. Conditional recommendation on product use for haze and light scratches. If conditions are beyond haze and light scratches, consider replacing the entire assembly via an order to a reputable auto parts wholesaler
did not live up to expectations failed to remove yellowing of plastic, had to sand and repolish several times, finally used novus #2 polish and got better results
