I bought this product especially because I'm driving a school bus which is park outside all the time. Lately, early in the morning while the temperature was around -20c, my windshield was frozen inside and I could hardly see outside and drives like this. So I spray the inside windshield with Rain X Deicer, almost instantly, the ice was melting. Now my windshield being wet, I had to wipe it off to dry it. Wow, my windshield was so clear I was amaze and in the next days (3 weeks by now), my windshield stayed clear and didn't freeze again. For that, I highly recommend this product.
I found this last winter. My car wasn't in the garage & it helped melt ice, light snow. I love this stuff! I'm not the only one because it is really hard to find at the store and online. Haven't found it at auto stores...
I have used this product for several years. It sure beats scraping the windshield, and is easy to use. This last one did leak when the bottle was layed down by the cash register clerk.
Best ever, does not lose pressure in cold like aresol can. Turn air of to defrosters before spraying, as has alcohol in it. Will keep spray from being pulled into car, and slow fogging inside windshield! Vapor in not meat for breathing, especially in an enclosed area.
It's wonderful, I use it now every time the windows get frost or ice. Works beautifully and I no longer have to scrape the ice off. I'm ordering some more!
I hate scrapping my windows in the morning and this I just sprayed and let it sit for about 10 seconds for my wife and she used her winsheild wipers and ice was gone !!
This product works very well ... Just a mist from the bottle on the spray setting cleared the ice from my window but if you use to much it causes a film andmakes it hard to see ... great job Rain X
This product simply DOES NOT WORK. I had between 1/8" - 1/4" of ice on my car when I left work today. I got farther with a good ice scraper, rubbing alcohol, and my car's defrost system. Walmart used to carry a product called Heet in a spray can that is a FAR SUPERIOR product to this. This was the first time I purchased this product and I will not do so again.
melted the frost in a hurry and left a film worse than the frost, couldn't see out the windows had to stop at the gas station to wash off the film, then off to the car wash to get rid of the rest! I've used similar products that worked great but RainX was awful! Perhaps they put the wrong product in this batch or Epic Fail. I gave it one star because the review makes you give it one.
Item never arrived. Can't get a refund cause it says I have to return the item I never got. Was said to ship on the 7th, got shipping text the 12th. Said it arrived the 20th, nothing there. But for some reason Walmart thinks it was delivered the 7th. This has just been a waste of time and money.
