Heavy duty gazebo that looks much more expensixe than it is. For an 8x8 this feels bigger! Love the hard top look and its beavy enough that we didnt need to bolt it down. Love the velcro on nets! I put this together mostly by myself but it took 3 of us to lift it and get the legs on. I recommend 4 people because its SO heavy. Worth it though! This gazebo is the perfect size for our deck. We are looking forward to shady summer days spent out there.
Best part of this gazebo is the metal roof, the netting is very thin but keeps the mosquitoes out. I like that the netting has a zipper on each side. Instructions say to assemble the whole roof then lift it on to the legs, No that won't work. I took all the roof panels off and only left the center peak panels on, then it was much easier to add 2 legs on one end and then prop it up with a latter and add the other 2 legs, then put the roof panels on. At first i added a hanging light then i decided to take it off and I added a hanging ceiling fan with LED light I bought from Lowes. It worked out great.
Delivery came on time. All the parts were neatly wrapped and labeled. My husband and I started the assembly on a Tuesday morning. We worked for 2 hours every morning until Friday morning where we worked on it for 4 hours until it was complete. The hardest part of the assembly is putting the roof on top since it was just 2 if us, but we used some tall wood planks to prop the 2 ends up and while my husband held the other side up, I put a tall ladder directly in the middle under the roof for safety support and quickly assembled the legs on one side then did the same for the other side. This is a really nice gazebo for an affordable price. We're thinking about get a second one to cover the remainder of the patio
Great investment quality material for the money
Very happy with it my only complaint is the screen is flimsy and it shouldveVery happy with it my only complaint is the screen is flimsy and it shouldve had on the bottom weights so that it would stay secure I had to put brakes on it and it doesnt really fit correctly but Im going to buy outside curtains to help
The item is made with good material and looks great once erected. Instructions can be confusing. Recommend you read instructions over several times to ensure coordination of the right screws washers and locknuts with the right portion of the instruction sheet. It did take five people to lift and erect the gazebo once the top was finished. Welds are slightly off requiring the nuts not to be tightened on the basic frame until the very last opportunity. As a precaution, i used silicone as well as rust oleum flat paint to ensure no rusting at the bolt locations. This did add time to the build. But as the pictures indicate, it looks great and I expect it to last for many years. I do recommend this product
Assembly is definitely a 2-man plus job—even though I had no plans to use the netting it was the reason I gave a 4 rating (not very good quality netting)—purchased sun screen panels for the sides as shown in picture. The gazebo itself without the screen seems to be very sturdy and time will tell the benefits of going to a hard shell cover because I’ve been buying regular soft cover gazebos every time a replacement was needed—wanted something more durable that I can use for years instead a year or 2 at a time.
Awful instructions, almost every piece was bent up including the steel posts! Almost every roof panel was flawed. Called Walmart for a partial refund and the manufacturer to send out replacement parts.
I was so excited to find this hard top gazebo in the size I needed. Despite the reviews I decided to move forward with the purchase. I purchased this from Walmart and it started to rust after one day of rain. Ive only had it up for 4 days and Im ready to take it down; it is beginning to staining my new deck. Since I cant return it and it took so long to assemble, I am going to try spraying it with rustoleum and caulking the seems before trashing it. If I knew it was going to rust this soon, I would have saved my money and invested in a better quality gazebo. It is extremely difficult to install if you follow the directions, which has you fully assemble the roof before lifting it onto the post. I discovered after the fact it is much easier to install the top to the post before installing the roof panels. I am very disappointed that I literally threw away over $600. DO NOT PURCHASE, WASTE OF TIME
