In our mobile home park the water is delivered through a regular faucet. Most hoses can't take the continuous pressure and the sun light. The new hose, is white, which makes it easy for the lawn care people to avoid and keeps the water from getting scalding hot in the sun. As for the pressure, its reinforced and is working well so far.
I ordered a 50' %26 a 25' drinking water hose. I ended up only needing the 50' hose so I will be returning the 25' foot drinking water hose unopened in the shipping package to Walmart as they are good with certain returns. Currently I am in the process of another return of a 6000A Jump Starter through a 3rd Party Walmart Vendet with a high approval but I have had some difficulties with them %26 Walmart was not to helpful when I brought the product to them. A buyer issue I really think Walmart should assist in…
I live in the desert and this is the only hose I have found that does not get chewed by rodents looking for water. It's lasted for several years in direct sunlight with temperatures over a hundred degrees Fahrenheit in summer and below freezing in winter. I have stopped wasting my time which is cheaper hoses and use these hoses for everything including watering plants.
These hoses are not the best. But I figure I only use them once a trip so the price is right. They are very stiff but once you get them coiled all out they are good to go. If you are looking for an economical hose that is rated for drinking water and dont use them all the time I say this is the way to go.
Good hose but the coupling that screw onto your water pipe is plastic. Also its great that this hose is lead-free, but what about BPA, pthalates, dioxins & any other toxins from the plastic getting into my pets water or me when I drink from this hose??
Although the fittings on both ends tend to leak a bit, depending on which spigot I have the hose connected to, I'm glad to have a 'safe' hose to fill my bird baths, pets water bowls, etc. So many other hoses have a foul chemical smell and aren't approved for drinking- with good reason.
This hose is advertised as Reinforced Maximum Kink Resistance. It arrived it I'd the box with dents in the hose itself about 18" from one end. The first time we hooked iyer up, it kinked on itself in several places... which actually choked off the water supply. I'm hopeful that at least the Lead BPA Free representation is accurate. I wril also sassy that all the representations about this house made on line are NOT repeated on the labeling that comes with the hose.... so im not particularly confident that what I received is as represented
The item pictured is NOT what I received. The item pictured is the premium not low end hose. In fairness the correct hose number was displayed. The price was right and the length was right (75 feet). The longest premium hose is 50 ft (according to the camco website). I'm not sure if walmart can quality control every listing. I decided to by a 10 foot premium from walmart again and use that from the water source as the plastic cheap fittings are not something I want at the source thank you. Buyer Beware unsatisfied
Dislike the fact that it was a cheaply made brass fittings especially the male end that leaked where it was I guess welded or joint together as it was being made. Happens right after I connected it to the nozzle because when you twist to tighten it up with the nozzle, it breaks apart. Had to buy a new end and replace it by cutting theirs off. most people would think it's just the washer which it was not it was leaking in behind where it was connected to the nozzle that's how I knew that the brass fitting had failed from the manufacturer being made.
Only used for 6 months and packed away for winter. Went to connect this Spring and is leaking at connector and hose expanding ready to burst.
