$6.96 for a durable, clear protective coating with no odor! Easy product to use and doesnt yellow
Bought this product for my hobbyking tornado 75 edf jet to use for a clear coat.Did a test under the canopy to make sure that it really was foam-safe.After letting it stay on there for 5 minutes i could see that it wasn,t going to eat the foam!! Then sprayed the entire jet with one smooth coat. After 15 minutes i spayed another coat, I was truely blown away with the outstanding gloss that was now on the airplane!!! With the decals that came on the tornado 75 the krylon gloss low odor clear finish #7110 did no damage at all to them! Get the product if you want your epo foam jet to stand above the others.
Especially if you use cutting machines using mats, it's a must you have the easy tack! Gesso is super awesome, especially on canvas and wood surfaces with large projects. The ultimate spray adhesive is great for large cut outs needing assembling!!
I make and print out counters for games. Needed something to protect the cardboard counters from the dreaded "nacho cheese" fingers of fellow gamers. This product was recomended to me by a an artist friend who uses it to protect her charcoal drawings. Good stuff. Low order, fast and easy clean up on the fingers/hands. Fast drying too. Price is a little expensive, but hey, everything is these days.
Worked perfectly on handmade colored paper boxes to protect them.
I have used this for a few years but the last batch the texture is like sandpaper. bummer.
Having used Krylon for 30+ years, I felt this would pick up where the solvent- based clear matte product left off. All the sprayer did was spit and sputter and leave blobs of finish on the surface of more than two dozen handmade Christmas ornaments. Upon drying, the blotchy appearance of the ornaments rendered them unattractive.
After spending hours building a box, I thought this would be a good base coat on the wood before painting. I was wrong - it might be if it didn't come out of the can as a foam, possibly the result of "spitting and sputtering". As a result, I'm going to have to spend more hours sanding the product off in order to salvage it. Some products are not meant to be sprayed and this is clearly one of them. Unless you want a randomly textured finish, it's one to avoid.
