Perfect for vehicles with Double Din. It converts the stereo compartment from a double din to a single din allowing it to look original.
This is a good kit for several applications. Instructions were very clear as to what to use and how to use it. Worked very well.
I installed a Pioneer stereo with this kit in a '93 Grand Cherokee. Fit was perfect, instructions were easy. Lots of parts left over due to fact it fits several applications. It's been a month and stereo is as stable as factory. I wouldn't attempt to install another stereo without this kit.
I was unsure how well this would work giving the thrifty price, however it exceeds my expectations and worked just as it was meant to. Easy to install, easy to read directions, it's still working great!
A few pieces were a bit of a weird fit but it definitely got the job done, and looks good!
Fit my 2000 Jeep XJ.
All mounting holes were spot it's a bit on the thin side but the radio I chose was very light (Bluetooth receiver no CD)so I shouldn't have issues.
While this product clearly says on the package "Ford 1974-2001" it does not apply to a 1994 Ford Ranger. It is imposwsible to know this untilo you receive the product. I had to return it.
Didn't come anywhere close to fitting. The installer is supposed to figure out which of the tabs to keep and which ones to cut off, only to realize that NONE of them work.
Misleading online product description. States can be used on a 1997 Ford Explorer. When we received the product on the back of the package only fits up to a 1988 Explorer.
