I recently purchased this item and I'm in love with it. It's extra tall so even my bigger items can be opened. The auto shut off & removable cutting piece make it easy to use, clean and maintain. The knife sharpener is an added bonus 👍
This is great for me. I got to where I couldn't use a regular opener, so I bought this one. It has been a great use for me. It's easy to use, looks good sitting on the cabinet. I would tell everyone if you need help opening cans this is the one to get.
This product is so easy to use and cuts the can with a smooth cut. It's a heavy can opener so you don't have to worry about it tipping over. I have arthritis and using a hand can opener hurts my hands. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a excellent can opener for under 20.00 you can beat it!!
I love my CanOpener
I have only used this can opener a few times since picking it up on a ship-to-store online purchase. It works perfectly and it is very easy to use and clean. It appears to be very sturdy and powerful, and I really like how you can open large cans like fruit juice or those Chun-King Chinese dinner can combos. I am very glad that I read all the reviews of the can openers and that I did not get one of the ones that cost a few dollars less. I highly recommend this device.
I bought this model years ago and am pleased to find it for sale. This can opener is tall enough to open tall cans. It has a removable cutting head so It can be scrubbed in hot, soapy dishwater, or even place in dishwasher. Just push the large black button on top and the entire cutting head pops off. The magnet holds heavy lids and its post is made of heavy metal. It won't break unless dropped, twisted off by hand or abused, so if you take care of it, the magnet should last a lifetime. This is a very good can opener. I recommend to buy.
Last one lasted 15 yrs
Havent had product more than two weeks; hard to review durability, performance, and quality. The cutting head is removable which I like but plastic so verdict is out. I like the taller model but rarely have tall cans to open. Occasionally I have difficulty aligning can for cutting; however, I prefer that to the old handheld openers I have used in the past. The magnet holds the cut lid well and I do get a clean cut.
Looks ok,but the first can I put under it(a 15 oz can of chili), caused it to tip over forwards and spill onto the floor. Needs to be heavier in back.Also leaves bits of the paper label in the can. The instructions even tells you to remove the bits of paper after opening! Going back.
1st time using it I tried to open a can of Bush beans & couldn't. The blade part would catch the can, finally after I tried many time my husband tried & it took about 5 tries for him to open it. I said I need to be able to open cans so we rinsed that can & tried it upside down (which you are suppose to be able to do if cans dented) but it didn't work at all. I did try on a can of fruit & it worked but I'm not sure it will work when I have another can & I don't want to open cans that I don't need, so we will see.
