The Home Styles Small Buffet with Two Glass Door Hutch, Cottage Oak with Natural Top was the perfect solution for my china and spacial needs. I am able to showcase my country rose teacups and saucers behind the glass doors and safegaurd the bigger peices below. The instructions for assembly were easy to follow. I love it!
Beautiful and sturdy cabinet. down fall lot of pieces to put together. may sure you are bob the builder and not helen the house wife putting it together.
I needed some storage in my kitchen, as well as a place for a microwave. This piece of furniture is perfect - it looks great - is made well! It is solidly put together and is not flimsy, as many other products I looked at were. It also was reasonably priced and I feel it was worth the money I paid. Had it shipped to a nearby store and that was wonderful. The service at the store was great! The only thing I was disappointed with was the size of the drawers, however they still function well for what I need.
This is a very nice unit. It did require me to remove the cabinet door hinges and bend them slightly in a vice so the doors close correctly. This unit is much nicer then any press board unit I've seen or put together.
I bought this cabinet to help free up some cabinet space in my kitchen. It looks absolutely wonderful in my dining room. I have had numerous compliments on this cabinet since I put it in. It was very simple to put together, took me only a couple of hours (probably would have been faster if the 3-year old hadn't been helping). My only complaint about it is that one of the drawers' slide rails was not set evenly and the drawer was crooked.
I was impressed by the delivery time, a week earlier than what was said originally. It was packaged great, nothing damaged. Now when it comes to assembly, that leaves little to be desired. The base was difficult. It really requires 2 people but this is not said in the instructions. Also when you are putting it together, you are doing everything upside down/backwards. The instructions are not detailed at all. You have to guess which sides of some pieces go in and go out since the holes are not in the pictures. I had to take it apart 3 times before I finally got all the parts going in the correct way for all pieces to fit correctly. ON the third time since I was doing this along and upside down, the back side of one side piece tore and now I had to glue it together. Thanks goodness it is on the back where it will not be seen. I had to but screws in to insure it will hold. There is no way one person can put the base together. Someone has to hold the side pieces to the back until you can get the front pieces connected. SO, buyer beware, it takes 2 people. THe hutch was easy and one person can do it and it was a quick assembly. The only other complaint is all the styrofoam particles left on the unit and glass. Even with Windex I have yet to get it all off. But it will come off eventually. It is a heavy & sturdy piece once put together. And worth the money. Especially since I could not find a small hutch at any local furniture stores.
