Love this dresser, well made, looks nice, not to hard to assemble. Matches my bedroom set perfectly. I use the dresser to place my tv on, and it holds great. Drawers are nice and deep! Im very happy with the purchase. I placed my cable box and VCR inside the top drawers and there is a circle in the back for cords to come through, very efficient. Great purchase!
Very nice for the price
Dresser is one of three pieces purchased. Site to store was as scheduled. Store pick-up fast and easy. Customer service was very good. Merchandise in excellent condition. Dresser assembly went flawlessly. Excellent design and manufacturing. All parts and assembly pieces were packaged. All in all excellent product for the price. Have purchased Sauder furniture previously and will continue to.
Very nice for the price
I was sceptic,but very pleased with this dresser when i recieved it. very well packed, no damage. Very easy to put together- about 2 1/2 hours. Great looking in the bedroom. If i had anything bad to say, it would be that the drawer bottoms could be a bit sturdier. This however is not a problem. Very satisfied, and would recomend for anyone.
Bought this dresser for my son's room, (he's 13), and it really looks nice. My husband and I put it together within 2 1/2 hrs, give or take. It comes completely disassembled and extremely heavy, I could barely get it into the door after Fed-Ex dropped it off, had to push and drag it. All the drawer handles and metal slides for the drawers had to be screwed on, along with the top, sides, middle and kick plate boards. The drawers themselves, were pretty easy to put together. The dresser is not solid oak, just oak finish, it's mostly all particle board, but thick and sturdy, especially the top, very sturdy to put things on. I accidently dropped a side board, to one of the big drawers on my hard tile floor, while putting it together, and it took a chunk off of the corner of it. We then noticed on the instruction booklet, it said to go on Sauder.com if you need replacement parts, so I did, and very easily put in the model # and the item #, and was sent a replacement board, free of charge, and got it within a week, very happy about that! I am glad I bought this, it really does make my son's room look more grown up.
I cannot believe how easy this dresser was to assemble. Everything went together smoothly and all of the pieces fit perfectly. It was packaged very well and arrived undamaged and all of the parts were there. It's been over a week now and I am still admiring just how beautiful this piece of furniture is. It is very functional and the drawers glide in and out so very smoothly. And speaking of drawers, they are so roomy and deep. They really hold a lot and even the full drawers glide very well. I know it says in the instructions not to put a TV or anything heavy on top, but I disobeyed and actually have a 55" plasma Panasonic TV sitting on top of my new dresser and the dresser doesn't even flinch from the extra weight on top. I cannot stress enough just how satisfied I am with this purchase. And by the way I already have a Sauder 4 drawer chest which I've had for 16 years and a Sauder nightstand which I've had so long I can't even remember when I got it. I know I was a teenager and it was a gift from my parents. I am 46 now. Anyhow they still look and function great and the best part is they both match the wood grain and color tone of my new dresser which I am reviewing.
Very nice dresser but difficult to assemble
Drill holes in the top at left rear off slightly causing the left side to be a little to the right of where it should have been. This caused the 2 top left drawers to bind. Had to drill new hole to shift the left side at the rear slightly to the left. Also had to remove some nails at the back and re-nail the back in place. Other than that it's a nice dresser for the price.
Half of the items aren't labeled with any corresponding letter or number to help with the configuration. Also as I'm moving through the steps I just noticed I am missing the D2 small back board
