This armoire took me about 2 1/2 hours to build by myself. Instructions were easy to follow. Only tip is have plenty of room to spread out the parts and flip the armoire during assembly. Drawers have a reinforced middle which is a plus and not advertised (although the bottom is not solid wood or wood fiber). There is also no solid back, but the common cardboard backing to most dresser drawers and armoires sold today. Perfect add on for any room. NOTE: the shelves in the top are adjustable, BUT they are not affixed. They sit on pegs. Works for what I need it and I love it.
When I bought this I was worried about assembling it. It was easy, instructions were clear. It took 2 hours for us to assemble, but the final result was worth it. I love it.

I was able to assemble by myself but it took me three hours. Directions were good with the exception of two pieces that could be put on backwards because the directions don't give enough info. But nice and sturdy and looks good. No problems with aligning doors as with some furniture.
I researched many armoires online. It seemed like the more expensive units had the worst ratings, I think on average 2-2.5 stars. I didn't want to make a huge investment so I decided to go with this one. Shipping was fast and product was unharmed. Construction is sturdy and I would put this up against most solid oak armoires. I was able to build myself but the shipment is in one box weighing 125lbs. I would recommend have another person for the build and placement of the piece. For the price and durability I would highly recommend.
It came earlier than promised (4days) it was easy to put together. (Nothing missing, no surprises) and it looks even nicer than the picture. My husband was impressed with the look of it, it matches our oak bedroom. We needed more storage space. I love it!
Overall this is a great product for the price. Although this is made out of MDF and press board, it is very heavy duty and quality material. It's not light weight or flimsy, although there is a little bit of a wobble or shim after it is put together. It's so heavy I'm a little concerned it will break or crack at the joints if I try to lift it the wrong way. The finish is great, looks very realistic and high quality. The one big negative is that the drawers are not as deep as the cabinet itself. That would have been nice. Another negative is the back is a fold out cardboard piece. I would have much rather had a solid wood piece on the back to complete the armoire. Took me about 3hrs to assemble, and that is working at a steady pace.
Very nice, very sturdy product. Good price. It was easy enough to put together; I did it myself while 4 months pregnant. My only problems with this item were that one of the doors is slightly lower than the other, and I can't figure out how to use the mounting bracket to anchor it to the wall (not in the directions). *If you want to childproof it, you may have problems with the bottom drawer. I wasn't able to use a spring-lock on the bottom drawer.
I put `small` even in the title cause I don`t want people to make the same silly mistake that I did. I liked the color, paid attention only to the way it looks and `assumed` the size of it!! When I did put it together I started laughing so hard cause it looked tiny in our bedroom. I needed the piece for linen storage. If you have king size bedding and several comforters go choose a bigger one. But overall it`s good quality(for the price) and really easy to put together.
I came home to find this package on my porch with all four corners ripped open and the item exposed on all four corners. When it was taken from the box the ends of the pieces looked like a dog chewed them open. I would have returned it to our local Walmart but it weighs more than I do, plus I had to put it together because I moved my father out of the nursing home and into my home and really needed this item ASAP! I tried to download pics of it to send to Walmart and request a refund of part of the money I paid ($179.00), because in this condition, even the local thrift store could only ask $50.00. I was not able to get the pics downloaded. It's up now but I had to rearrange his room so people could not see all the damage on it. Don't waste your money!
