I love this float because you can float in the water and keep cool. It also is very comfortable to lay on.
My favorite float! This is my 2nd one - 4 years of the sun's UV rays finally got the 1st one. (My fault for leaving it out on the sunny deck all summer.) Very well made and sturdy. I love that I can adjust the pillow firmness and I feel like I'm floating on a cloud. Submerged partly in water keeps me cooled off, too. And yes, I have dozed off... I don't fold it or take ianywhere, but my daughter takes hers and it's a convenient feature to fold up for transport. If you're unsure - it's well worth the money - get it! You won't regret it! I also want to mention the most awesome customer service folks who responded quickly to emails, showed a genuine interest, and went above and beyond to resolve an issue I had.
I bought two of these a month ago because good friends of ours has had them for a few years and the print hasn't faded or worn off!
We have purchased our e 4th. float!! We have gone through 2 of these already that have either gotten hole in them or the spring dad sprung. However, they are excellent for sunning in the pool while keeping wet at the same time!!!! My wife and I love and favor them over the noodles!!!!
I do not swim, but wanted to enjoy time on the lake with my husband and son this weekend. We purchased this and I tried it both days we were out! The first day I floated on my back and was perfectly at ease, even with waves coming in from passing boats. However, I burned, so I need to "even out" my backside the second day!! After a bit of hesitation and coaxing from my husband, I laid on my stomach, finally relaxed and floated on the lake...again, the waves coming in did not bother me and the device kept my head and face totally above water... When I began to get too close to shore, I just padded my way back into a bit deeper water. I actually could have fallen asleep out there and not worried about being "capsized!" Thanks for a great product!
I got this a few weeks ago for my sons new pool. It is great. I fall asleep in it. Easy to get on and off. Holds air well. Haven't needed more since I first blew it up!! Love the design where the air stays in while blowing up. I had an old one from maybe 10 years ago and I had to stick my tongue in the hole to take another breath!! Lol. But true.
my original one lasted three seasons.....only replacing because my nephew pushed his foot through the nylon from jumping on it....very happy with the price and the quality....I think I paid more for my original float, but this one was just as exceptional and at a cheaper price! :-)
The Swimways Spring Pool Float is not only visually pleasing with the bright colors and pattern, but it is so comfortable. The mesh bottom allows you to be partially submerged in the water so you stay nice and cool, while keeping your head well above the water. My only negative is that it is tricky to fold up; requires just the right touch and can be frustrating, but it is convenient that you can take it with you on a trip or to a friend's house in the zippered carrying case. I love it overall!
I bought this item after I had purchased the child size version, which I loved because my 6 yr old can get in and out of it herself. I was very disappointed with the full size float. It doesn't hold even as much air as the child size and it is impossible to get the valve plugged without it losing much of its air. The pillow does not inflate fully enough to hold up your head, which means that your hair will get wet. I end up with a sore neck because the pillow does not raise my head enough for me to relax and keep track of what my kids are doing. You will definitely get wet using this, which is o.k., but it does not inflate enough to hold a full size adult afloat and it is not very long. I am 5'8" and my feet hang off the end. It is hard to get into and I don't feel like I am "floating" in this, but feel like I am just on the verge of sinking. Another reason that I purchased this was that it is covered with nylon fabric which should make it more durable, however that nylon casing fills up with water, making it heavy and drippy when taking it out of the water. For what I paid for this, I should have purchased a $.99 inflatable float and just replaced it every week.
