Shoots far and fast with easy load fun lights and fun sounds. Anyone with this gun is sure to win the nerf wars. My kid loves it.
My son loves the soft bullet shooting guns. This one has autofire and it shot perfectly. The futuristic look also lends to child fantasy.
So I have been enjoying Nerf and related brands such as Buzz Bee and Dart Zone (the manufacturer of the Adventure Force brand) for many years, so this review will dive more into the technical aspects of the blaster for people who like more than just a "great gun, shoots hard" review. The Light Command is a great blaster. It's belt mechanism is sturdy and reliable. Its flywheel propulsion mechanism is great, the spin up times are short and it shoots pretty hot at between 80-90 feet per second, making it fire noticeably harder than almost every other blaster on the market; even the name brand stuff. It lights up, which is pretty awesome, but even more awesome is that its lights are powered by a separate battery compartment, so you don't have to worry about the lights "stealing power from the flywheel motors". Or if you don't like the lights, you can remove those batteries and your blaster will still work perfectly fine. The firing mechanism operates off of 6 AA batteries which in my opinion is much better than the 6 D or C batteries most comparable Nerf blasters use. Much lighter and far less expensive. The blaster is obviously belt fed, but you don't have the link the chain if you don't want to. You can simply feed the belt into the mechanism and when its done it will flop out the other side, which can be great if you have more belts as you can just feed the next one in and keep firing. The blaster is compatible with the Adventure Force Enforcer belts and you can even buy 40 dart belts from Dart Zone's website if you really want to have a large collection of belts to keep the foam flying as long as you have that trigger down. The belt will fit all standard sized darts from Nerf, Buzz Bee, or whatever other brand you can think of, so if it fits in the belt, it will likely fire just fine. The only real con I can think of its that it lacks a rev trigger than most Nerf flywheel blasters have. It rev's the flywheels as soon as you flick the "on" switch, but the switch is easily reachable with a thumb from the grip, so its not all that bad. The blaster is also pretty loud from those beefy flywheel motors, so good luck trying to be stealthy; but this is a problem shared by every other flywheel powered blaster. Overall, for $20 this is a fantastic blaster for those who want great performance and looks without breaking the bank. Its great aesthetics and comfortable grips make it easy to use for kids and adults alike. Its great fun for basement wars with friends and its solid performance will please those who take Nerf more seriously at large college events like HvZ or the like.
This blaster is super fun and easy for my son to use. He is only 3 and using the regular nerf guns is kinda hard for him. So ive been searching for a motorized one for him. I was super excited when I saw this one. It lights up,its pretty big but lightweight and easy to use. I defiantly will be looking into purchasing more of the Adventure Force brand toys!
This blaster is AMAZING! It shoots super far and is easy to pull the trigger. A lot of blasters Arent so easy but because it is motorized it practically shoots itself. My son loves this!
Great price looks good works good the only down fall is every time you want to reload it you need to take off clip you do it too many times clip wears out
Liked that it had multiple bullets that shot continuously. Disliked- ease of loading gun. 7 year old struggled with this.
We have lots of these style guns. Front handle vibration is annoying. Bullets curve more than usual. Probably the flywheel setup adding spin. Maybe use dual opposed wheels.
This looks and feels like it is made very well. Was kind of heavy for a smaller 9 year old girl. Shoots crazy far. Even though the bullets are soft, they shoot pretty far and with lots of force. Worry about injuries.
So I bought this for my youngest bc it was automatica bc he has trouble pulling back on the other ones and loved it. Only problem is, is that after an hour of having it and playing with it it makes a terrible loud grinding noise and only shoots some darts. I'm hoping I can take this one back and get a new one and the new one doesnt have any problems bc he really loves it.
