This kit will make a beautiful stocking for my little girl.
Gorgeous!
My daughter chose it when we shopped for her stocking. It is a busy stocking, lots of work. I started putting it together on Dec 8th and completed it the day before Christmas it was long nights of stitching but well worth it, it looks beautiful and you should have seen my daughter's eyes when it was finally finished. She loves that her name is on a muffin and she loved that Santa filled it up with lots of fun things too.
Though I haven't had time yet to make this stocking, it is similar to another one I made from the same company. The first stocking came out just beautifully and I was so proud to give it to my little grandson!
This was the site that had the best price, and it arrived 3 days sooner than anticipated.
bucilla stockings are quite expensive on other sites....found this steal on walmart and it didnt dissapoint...already did the full tree skirt of this style so i know how adorable it is....super cheap shipping charges and only took 2 days to arrive....walmart.com has not let me down yet..will be back to buy the other styles as well..... A+++
Beautiful stocking. Scads of teeny, tiny pieces to stitch, but makes a wonderful look.
Very detailed stocking with good instructions. I am about half way complete and have not found any problems with the stocking or supplies included. I'm sure this will become my granddaughter's (Syla, 8 months) stocking for life. Great to have this for her first holiday gift.
I guess I should have checked more thoroughly what this kit would entail me needing to do because this thing is over my head as I probably haven't done anything other than simple sowing a ribbon onto something in decades. I expected that the stocking would be made and everything already cut out and all I would be doing would be applying and embellishing. I didn't expect that I was going to have to cut out and sow EVERYTHING! My own fault for not paying attention and just falling in love with the finished product. I'm afraid it will take me AGES to complete this unless I can find someone to do it for me. lol
I love this design, but the instructions are very hard to follow. It was very hard for me to determine the colors, stitch, and thread count because the symbols printed on the picture was so small. I am 64 years old, so I used a magnifying glass and still had a hard time. Some of the red beads were too small to fit over the needle, so I didn't have enough. Not a kit for a beginner.
