This set is very fun and very customizable! The engine itself is great and the cars are ok as well. The track is only a circle, and I feel it deserves more, but is a great set overall.
Exactly what we wanted. This train set was easy for my son to assemble and use. Worked great.
Great Train for my mini-Christmas Village
I picked this because of the track which holds together nicely and because the cars have automatic couplers. This should eliminate some of the frustration that older/cheaper sets had. It also is better as a starter set because you can expand on what is here rather than having to replace it with better track and couplers later.
returned the item to walmart. it was ho scale and i do n scale. and picked up the n scale the same day. thank you.
I ONLY ORDERD ONE(1) SET BUT RECEIVED THREE(3), AND HAD TO TAKE THE OTHER TWO(2) BACK TO MY WALMART STORE.
The wheels would pop off very easily and it was hard for my 5 year old to get the engine and cars on the track without help. After one day of playing with it we returned it and are looking for something more durable.
The pieces are very delicate for the age group...I taught my son to be very gentle n 6yr olds are rough he thought it would be like his Thomas train sets...
The pieces are very fragile and hard to connect trains and stay together. The engine will only carry one train, the others derail which is not good. One train was missing a set of wheels and my son was very disappointed with it.
said this train was for kids 14 and up, not worth getting. wheels kept coming off, would not stay on track - could really only use engine - had to leave other cars off the track, I even paid for the extra 1 year parts guarantee. do not get unless you just want a difficult time - son (7yrs old) was disappointed, now I have to look for replacement train
