perfect for a starter set to a great hobby
Everything about this train set exudes quality and excellence. Impressive workmanship! Beautiful detail. Very easy to set up. Everything works perfectly. The EZ track was a snap for this 64 yo first time train owner. I'm so impressed with this wonderful little train that I'm already shopping for a village, extra track, and more cars to add. Thank you Bachmann and Walmart! I think I've become an overnight train enthusiast :) AND it arrived in 2 days!
It is packaged very well, no sign of damage. Walmart sent it Federal express, and it arrived in a timely manner. The directions were straight forward ,making it easy to put together. I ordered extra track, as a circle was not enough. The engine really has nice power, and can pull the cars with ease. The lighted engine adds to the esthetics.
The new Bachmann track system is FANTASTIC! It goes together very well an really stays together which is perfect for a temporary layout. Locomotive very detailed And moves nicely slow fast or in between. Lights front and back are added bonus. 3 cars are also realistically detailed. Box says 14 yr or older and probably good suggestion since n gauge is deliberately small so can get more in a small space! Very happy with purchase and Walmart s ability to get it to me quickly. Would give 6 stars if choice was there. Feel VERY confident With Walmart getting something to me when they say they will and there free shipping has always been good shipping, nicely packed as well. Any more walmart.com has become my first choice and then compare others to it and most often Walmart gets my business
Easy to put together track. And easy to put engine and cars on track too. Fits perfectly under the tree, 24" track works great around the tree base .
The train set it to Christmas gift, The only problem is it is smaller that I thought!
Christmas gift lasted 2 minutes. Electric connector cheap and a horrible joke. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
The connection wire that runs from the power pack to the track terminal would not stay connected. The GP diesel locomotive would run and slow up, run again and slow up, the couplers that connect the cars to the engine locomotive would not stay connected. I feel that you could get more quality for the money that is spent for this set
Cheapy plastic train, not at all what these things used to be made. Can't see these lasting more than 30 minutes with my nephew. Not worth $10, much less the $100 paid. Opened the box and returned them.
Disappointed with this train. Took out of box and engine did not work. Finally got t to work ram for two minutes then stopped completely.
