Great beginner set. Easy to get Walnut Hollow accessories to add to set as beginner progresses. 30 watt with on/off switch. Great product!

I'm an amateur and this was so simple to use and turned out great! Love the two wood pieces that came with to create some fun projects! It does get really hot where you hold it so I use a glove.
My daughter is in college and is working with woodburning. She said it worked out really well for her projects in that area. The only change she would make is if it had rubber on the handle so it would be easier to work with for long periods of time without getting so hot to the touch. She loves woodburning and works with it a lot.
It does just as stated. It heats up and burns wood. A good starter tool to see if it is something one would like to take up more in depth. The handle gets uncomfortably hot quite quickly so a glove would be required for extended use. A good fun little introductory kit for budding pyrographers.
Received it quickly in the mail. I did ok the first time I tried it. I think it is fine for beginner usage, either for chikd craft of adult....Not for the people who want serious pyrogrphics. A good one to experiment with before spending $100 to $200 for a craft one has not yet tried.
This set was supposed to come with 4 different tips (for 4 different ways to design) for the burner. There was only the tool with one attached tip that doesn't even unscrew, nor were there the 3 extra tips that were pictured and explained in the product guide. We are returning it.
