Fiskar products are one of the best.
It looks okay but had no directions on how to use it. I have to get directions on the internet.
Great price for this product and shipping is always on time.
I've owned this product for over a year and the blade is the only thing I would be able to complain about. I don't use it very often so this isn't a huge problem for me, but it might be for someone else. After just one use the blade became dull and now I have to put pressure on it just for it to cut through one piece of paper. Other than that it is an amazing product!
This is my second time to own one of these. I like how it cuts precise shapes (depending on template) It took me a while to get it to glide right. You have to have the blade attachment pushed down a bit further inside the template than you think you would when you line it up. Do not put the metal blade against the template, just the first notch of the plastic that is holding the blade should touch the template. If its lined up wrong, your paper gets ripped. Once you find the sweet spot, you will have no troubles.
WORKS GOOD BUT DIDN'T COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS. I HAD TO LOOK IT UP ON YOUTUBE.
I was putting the cutter together while watching the instructions on the net. I tested it on paper and the blade fell out of the plastic blade holder of my craft table and into a thick multicolor carpet. Found the tiny blade and glued it carefully back into the blade holder. The scary part was trying to find it. - I can't use it in my present project but I will in the future for cutting paper.
Can not use it since there were no instructions. So it is of no use to me. Please reply.
I watched a youtube video on how to use this product and still had issues with it. I also made sure I only used Fiskars templates and they were right side up. I really wanted it to work despite some of the other reviews, but it didn't. On a positive note, the blade is sharp and I was able to cut 2-3 sheets of cardstock at once. Unfortunately, the shapes just didn't cut like they should have.
