I plan on making my own Christmas cards with my Hello Hobby die cutter and embossing machine. This lettering guide is exactly what I needed. In the past I had to use stencils and a ruler to get my letters just right, and it was a pain. This Hello Hobby lettering guide will make things go a lot more smoothly and with the embossing machine, my cards will look more professional. I definitely recommend this lettering guide.
When creating a greeting card, this is very helpful. It helps to keep the curve just right instead of having a lopsided curve or keeping your text lines straight. I need all the help I can get there. Makes the card created look so much better and more professional. There was a bit of a learning curve for me because I tend to write big.
I decided to get the Hello Hobby 2 Piece Lettering Guide to help give a personal touch to some invitations that I was making. This Is my fist attempt at creating my own cards and I could use all the help I can get. I practiced on a sheet of paper because I didn't want to waste good card stock. The guides are a sturdy plastic and have both curved and straight boxes to keep your letters and phrases looking neat and uniform. Both of the guides helped me immensely. I would recommend these guides to anyone who wants to keep there writing and printing straight. It is fun to create things with print and I am actually enjoying it.

It helps me keep my hand steady when writing. It's simple to use. Anyone can learn to letter with the help of this product.
I'm new to the Hello Hobby brand of craft supplies. This lettering kit is good for letting your hand lettering straight on your projects. The curved guide is very helpful- altho I still have a tendency to not center my letters evenly within the space. Both guide sheets have measuring guides on them up to 4½ inches which was convenient. My only problem was trying to use a thick marker within the guide frame-- I kept hitting the inside edges of the frame which caused a few letters to be misshaped. Over all, these guides are handy to help me keep my lettering more neat.
This set will allow you to actually measure out how you wish to set up anything from a greeting, business card, or poster. It not only provides a measuring tool but includes a protractor to assist with the layout of angles and such. This is necessary to help the layout of any card.
It does its job. I can't say it is anything spectacular but it will do what it was designed to do. It feels a little flimsy but really how rough are you gonna be with it? But, all in all, it works very well. Great for scrapbooking etc...
