Nature's Touch 60/40 Natural Blend Batting is specially designed for all types of machine quilting. It is a durable and substantial batting created for quilters who want cotton with the added benefit of wash-ability and good stitch definition. It has a stabilizing scrim binder for extra support. Color: Natural Put-up: 90 inches x 20 yards Materials: 60-percent natural cotton/ 40-percent polyester Sewing machine safe Loft: 1/8 inch Shrinkage: 2-3 percent Stitch distance: 8-10 inches To pre-wash this batting, soak in hot water for 20 minutes. DO NOT AGITIATE WHEN WET. Gently wring out water and dry in dryer on low setting or lay flat to dry. After the quilt is complete you can machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and dry in dryer on low setting. Material: Cotton, Polyester

This is my favorite batting. I use it for 75% of my quilting and have never been disappointed with the outcome of my long arm patterns.

Well, I prefer the 80/20, it results in a softer quilt. I waited till after washing before writing a review. I will admit this batting gives superior stitching and it takes to 505 basting spray. Its better used for art quilts and competition quilting. For a home quilt that will be used the 80/20 is better.
