I love these beads! And, I'm so glad that I took my time and picked out just the right set for myself. I didn't need a base so got a set which doesn't have one. I LOVE that the colors are presorted by color - a REAL TIME-SAVER!! And I thought the price was fair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This colorful fused bead tray is super fun activities that me and my son can do together, all we need is iron and parchment paper, an adult must be keep supervising since it using iron. There's so many models than we can create from the booklet, this is definitely super fun and build my son creativity and he loves the results.

The colors are awesome the beads all melt easily. My 8 year old are so happy, he loves doing art and craft and has made some of creations with plenty of beans remaining. This set includes 16 fuse bead colors and instructional idea booklet with over 400 designs. I like that are organized with dividers, so all colours are well separated, cannot mix, and easily accessible. It was a bit tricky to figure out how much to iron the surface of the finished design in order to get them properly fused, but we made some really cool designs. I think this is a good starter kit for perling. I Highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perler Fused Beads come in a convenient plastic tray you can reuse to store them and and it comes with a book with ideas for you to create. My daughter had fun coming up with ideas in what to make. She ended up making a heart that we turned into a keychain that she hung on her book bag. I never thought of it,but they have ideas in making little furniture with the perler beads. They look really cute. My daughter can't wait to try her hand at making them when we have more time on our hands. Perler beads are made to fuse together easily when you apply the right amount of heat with your iron. You don't need to press much to get it to fuse together. It makes it a lot easier to create your creations if you have a Perler bead board. I've tried both ways. The board you will have to purchase separately though. There s 4000 beads in this tray and 16 different colors. Make sure to cut the tape on all sides of the tray so that you don't damage the tray so you can use it for storing your beads still. It's easy to get your colors mixed up when picking up the colors. So if your someone very particular and like things extremely organized, you will want to purchase a different storage container.

My kids were so excited to get this. The accompanying book has tons of great ideas to spark your creativity. Definitely worth checking out.

The plastic packaging in flimsy and thin and did not keep any of the beads separated. Might as well separate your beads in a different container because the lid will just comes off.
Looks ok, but this kit does not include the peg tray to place the beads on while designing.
