Wow am obsessed with my project runway sewing machine, i have really used it on my wish-to-see-list, am only sewing lot and lot of face mask for homeless because of covid-19.... am glad I bought it.
This machine was recommended to us by a friend who is a REAL seamstress and new we needed something easy to use with our girls who are 9 and 12. We found the threading mechanism to be especially user friendly and the stitch options to be a lot of fun!
Yes I love my new machine
I bought this machine as my very first sewing machine ever. I absolutely love it and would definitely recommend it to anyone! I have learned so many new things with this machine, from how to sew buttons and button holes to how to use each stitch and what they are used for. Attached is a photo is my latest project, paper piece quilting. It's a Harry Potter bookshelf quilt. I haven't finished it yet, as you can see, but I'm just thankful to be able to create it. All thanks to this sewing machine!
I love this machine!! How it stitches effortlessly through the material is amazing! I had an earlier version for 12 years and I worked it to death, poor thing but I feel I got a great machine that could put up with my hard core sewing. Yet here I am with this new version and every time I see it just takes my breath away! Now I did have a bit of frustration with the new way to thread and fill bobins, but its a good and much needed change. I hope to have this machine for years to come.
I've just begun to use my machine, but am already impressed by the smoothness of the stitching. Also, just love the auto needle threader!
It sews very quietly and precisely. I really love the needle down position when I stop sewing. I have tried all of the stitches except 29-35, those for buttonholes. I don't do garment sewing anymore so I will try buttonholes later. And, it's light weight so I can carry it easily. This is my first computerized sewing machine.
I would give this item 5 stars when working on basic stitching settings. Several times when I would try the more intricate patterns the machine would jam or the thread would be completely pulled through the needle and it would sew with no thread. Otherwise, this machine has worked for everything I have needed it to. Great value.
After my purchase the machine started making some loud noises. When I called customer service I was told how to make the necessary adjustments. The agent was extremely helpful. I get the same noise from time to time. I usually turn the machine off, wait a minute, then turn it back on. That works for me. I have used my machine on many projects. Don't give up if you have problems. Call customer service.
