Portable + mighty + cute with a very clean stitch!
it would b great for kids except it doesn't have speed control. Kids just starting out need it so they won't sew over their fingers!!!!!!!
This machine is styled perfectly for a young child/teen that is wanting to learn to sew, however, I totally agree with the previous review... this machine needs a speed control for a child. Yes, I did read the previous review before I purchased it for my 8 year old granddaughter but I honestly thought I could tape a stop to the foot pedal so that it wouldn't sew as fast. After receiving the machine, I plugged it up so I could determine where I needed to place a stop on the pedal to reduce the speed. well it idea didn't work because the pedal has a lag in it's start... so, you are either not sewing or sewing to fast for a beginning sewer. I'm now looking into purchasing a different foot pedal hoping that will solve the issue.
