I'm not sure if I received the wrong item or if other people simply aren't noticing that the markers that they got are not what's depicted on this item's page. The image currently on this page is for 80 markers including the colors: black, red, blue, light blue, purple, green, light green, brown, orange, yellow presumably all in sets of 10. The package I received did not contain orange, green, purple, or blue but instead included pink, teal, grey, and all in sets of 8 except for black which was included in twice the quantity of the other markers. I'm not exactly upset because I need black more than another color. But the fact that this isn't the item depicted I think should be noted. If the package that I actually received was for sale on this website, I would have purchased that instead. Also unlike many of the other reviews, none of markers in the box were missing caps and none appear to be dried out.
I had gotten these for our cubscouts to use and they worked great! The colors were great and the kids had a blast using them!
We used these in my kindergarten classroom to make t-shirts. They work great for little hands!
My husband I went to several different stores in search of fabric markers, and it was far less expensive to buy these than in stores - it would have cost the same price it did to have these shipped directly to my house to buy half as many markers (two packages of 20, to be exact), and they would not have been Crayola, which is a trusted name. I purchased them to decorate onesies for a baby shower, and they worked out beautifully!
Used them on a canvas bag and they worked GREAT! Only set back was that it's not whats advertised online. The colors and box you get are different than the one shown when you place your order. Instead of getting "black, purple, blue, light blue, green, light green, red, orange, yellow & brown" you get "black, gray, white, brown, light blue, blue, green, yellow, pink and red." I would have preferred the basic colors and not a WHITE but it worked and the kids didn't care. Also these are small markers about 5 inches and thinner than the stander regular washable markers, but thicker than the fine points. Hope this helps.
The box I received was white with no product information on the box. It looked like it had been separated from a bin of items "not for resale" but stock. No product use instructions or tips. I'm not happy with the packaging.
I bought these markers for an 8th grade class project. I needed students to be able to put in fine line details after painting the background in fabric paint on 9"x8" rectangles of fabric. I had 2 groups of students using the markers (total: 68 students). They used the markers the day after painting the background (so nothing was wet)...and the markers barely made it through the project. (The markers were used during 2 class periods over approx. 2.5 days.) All of the black markers (which was a favorite color for details/quotes) dried up/ran out - along with many of other colors. I had hoped these markers would get more than 1 project's use...and am disappointed that the black ran out as quickly as it did. Also, it took a few "coats" of marker to see the marker - even when used on sections of fabric that hadn't been painted. (For example: a student writing a quote would have to go over the lettering 2-3 times to make it really show.) These were fine while they lasted...they just didn't last beyond the one project.
I received these markers are a lot of them were dried out. Could only use them once.
Many of the markers caps were off or loose and dried out. The colors are not bright on the shirt. Red looks pink. All pink markers were among the dried markers.
No brown markers. Caps were off some so those markers were Chardried up. I was not pleased with my purchase.
