i love these no sharpening required the regular pencils are horrible. downside is only have at store during school start
My 4 1/2 yr old daughters LOVE these! They color everyday and these are their go to crayons. These allow my girls to stay in the lines better and are also great for writing their letters clearly, unlike normal crayon where letters can get smudged and messy looking.
Bought it for 7 y/o. I was tired of sharpening his regular colored pencils only to end up w/ continuous nib breakage & the colored pencils getting shorter & shorter! This twistables are great! My son loves them & w/ the many color choices. The nibs are not sharp but that's OK..doesn't hinder him fr coloring.
I like these better than the colored pencils because you don't have to sharpen them. I just wish it was a finer point but still it colors good. it's smooth on paper. The different colors are nice too.
Bought this product a few months ago for my 2 granddaughters (ages 7-years and 23-monrhs now), I expecialy thought that they'd be easy for the younger granddaughter, but it hasn't worked out. The crayons twist up easily (too easy for little people). These crayons are great for older children.
The only problem I had with these is that the colors aren't on the pencils and even though it's listed on the back,you still can't tell which color is which.Other then that,I like them.
Great selection of colors. Great idea for colored pencils. However, the end used for twisting is rather loose for most of the pencils and when trying to color with up upright pencil, the lead will twist itself back in. For some, it helps if keeping the pencil at an angle and not applying a lot of pressure, but I'd like to use all the sides of the lead -- not just one -- and it turns out that i have to twist the lead back out every 5 seconds if I want to use the color.
We love the easy and cleanliness of the twistables, however my child is color blind and without the names of the colors printed on them he has a very difficult time. Also we find that the crayon lead breaks easy if used with any amount of force.
All looks. Pretty. But pencil itself breaks into many pieces inside the casing, after this you’re unable to use them, so they go in trash…Waste of money.
I thought this would be a great product and we brought them home. The turn the barrel to get the top of the pencil out but if you go to far it will break and also when coloring the top will go back in the barrel, so here you are coloring and you have to stop to twist it again. The fact you can't refill them is a big waste of money and plastic. It could be a good product but you have many things to correct on it.
