Just what I wanted. Well made, sturdy, easy to install. If you like the look of black wire this is the one to get, it also comes in other sizes.
This is a very reasonable priced rack and I have three of them now and would recommend them to all that have a need for a CD Rack.
If you want a freestanding CD rack you should get something else, this would be very unstable if used that way. This rack is plainly designed to be mounted on a wall and serves that purpose excellently. I've bought 5 of these from Amazon but they've restricted access to them now so I'll be buying them here from now on. They are simple to install with the supplied screws and anchors; the only tools needed are a hammer, a Phillips head screwdriver and a level. They mount neatly and attractively both side-by-side and vertically. I couldn't be happier with this product.
Its sturdy and fits my purpose completely. I had several music cds and wanted a rack to put next to my stereo system. This worked perfect. The only complaint is there are 4 screw holes and I only got 2 screws. But it was not a big problem since I have screws already. If you don't have screws, you might find yourself running to the hardware store for 2 screws.
Contrary to what I've read, the tower is sturdy enough to stand unsupported on my desk, handy to put CDs into my boombox. I find this preferable to having it on the floor, as it's easier to read the titles, which are eye level. Though it is 20" high, it is compact & only takes little room.
This is a great product because they paid attention to detail when they designed and manufactured it. Because it is a wire storage tower it is light and easy to install and for my purposes it holds just the right amount of CD's. The black finish is durable, easy to clean and will look good for years to come. I was surprised to find such a high-quality product for such a good price. I believe that Walmart has a really good business model. They have figured out what the customer needs and how to get it to them in a timely, efficient manner. Thanks
Wire CD rack holds CD's, 35 or 70 if in slim jewelcases, best if used with supplied screws to attach to a wall or cabinet.
Rack is good. But only comes with two screws requires 4 but not a problem.
While I had some hesitations based on some on-line negative comments, I have been pleased with the performance of the CD tower so far. Some users apparently felt it was somewhat unstable unless adhered to the wall. I have placed it on the table beside my computer and it has not given me any trouble. It is everything I was hoping for.
I think it would be a lot better hanging on the wall, but I'm using it to stand up, and am not fully pleased with it. I bought three; all are wobbly, and one tilts to the side. I think they are a little unsturdy and are not of terribly high quality, but for their price, they're not bad.
