Great product easy to put together.
My dad and I put this shed together in about 45 minutes. This shed only has 10 screws for the floor. The rest of the shed is like a giant Lego set because it just snaps together and its so easy a child could do it :) After building the shed I went out and bought 4 S hooks to hang my rakes and brooms and I bought a light to put inside and a lock for security. I stored a load of wood and all my lawn equipment inside and still had room to sit inside it with my dad and drink a beer LOL I would recommend this shed to anyone looking to store lawn and garden tools.....this shed will not hold a ride on mower or adult size bikes. It will hold a push mower and a small grill or garbage can and wood....its cute and not bad for the price :)
The shed exceeded my expectations. It would have been nice to know, before the purchase, that some 2X4s and pipe would be required for a firm floor and a snow load capable roof. Those items are not mandatory, but necessary for our area. The instructions were clear and accurate. Some fitting of the pieces together required some patience, but it was almost a one man job to assemble. Help was handy to lift the roof into place. The finished project feels incredibly sturdy!
I bought this several years ago and even moved it to a new house and it's still doing super. It's so easy I (woman) can build it without much effort. Best hint I can give you is to put it on level ground for it to stay sturdy. For the most part it keeps things dry but once in awhile after a hard rain you can tell some rain found it's way in. It is sturdy, well made and inexpensive. Seems that I never have enough storage space so this really fits the ticket and I found the best thing to do is store things in totes if you are worried about moisture. I liked it so well that I am getting ready to buy another one to put in another place. My old one is still going great and don't expect to replace it for several more years. Ladies this is super purchase and more than I had bargained for in the long run. I have recommended this unit to several people and all of them are tickled with the purchase and referal. Get them while you still can!
This snapped together so easy and went up very quickly. I am a 58 year old female and put it all together myself. I did have to call a friend to help lift the roof up into position as I just didn't have the upper body strength to do it alone.
This shed was extremely easy to put together as long as you have an electric screw driver your all set you'll have it together in an hour. When I got this Shed I wasn't sure on what size I needed you'll probably need to take two trips from the store to get this home its a large box or two I should say ... but I really can't fit everything I wanted to in it I have my two kids bikes in there and a lawnmower and one tote with their outside toys in that and the rakes and stuff that's all its smaller than I was hoping it to be... Otherwise its durable and no other complaints I got what I paid for!
Have had other Suncast products and they seemed solid. One word of warning this things packaging is huge! I tried to get sombody with a pickup truck to go get it but in the end with cooperation from the manager and assistant manager was able to transport the two boxes (each 38 x 72 x 22") in two trips in my mini Jeep trailer. Don't know if I will need it but bought a $2.77 rubber mallet while I was there to tap the parts in place if required (read them in the downloadable instructions). Looks like an adult sized Leggo set! I am planing on storing my propane tanks, garden tools in it so it should be sufficent size.
We purchased this product because the diminsions of the shed were compatable with the space we had for it. It went together very easily and is sturdy. It is a clean looking unit and fits well into our lifestyle.
Good for the price.. Nice Birthday gift and nice project for my son and I... Definitely needed two people for assembly.. Probably took an hour or so to complete... Overall pleased...
I bought this for my backyard for storage. You definitely have to make sure the ground is level. Also the parts did not fit together well and was missing some parts. Had to call customer service to get the parts sent to me so I could finish building it. Definitely not worth the price. I could have paid a little more and got one better at Lowe's or Home Depot.
