Very nice for the price. Just started assemble today.A little time consuming with 2 men. But it is fairly easy to assemble. Feels pretty sturdy. I already had a concrete pad for a floor. I would recommend this storage shed. I do plan on adding shelves and a light later. Well worth the money. Thanks
This is my third shed from Arrow so I obviously like the quality and style. I read reviews of leaks but none of mine have ever leaked so I can't say anything bad there. They look over whelming at first with all the pieces but are not that big of a deal putting together, just read the fastener style they say and match up the part numbers stamped into the parts and all will go good.
You definately need two peopke to nake this go a lot easier....I am an experienced builder and decided to do it alone....wrong answer....I managed but with some difficulty using a chair as my second person holding the walls up to screw them to the base....If I decide to build another one...I will order another person to go with it.....lol...was fairly easy to build....easy to follow instructions....but to someone with no building experience...it might be a little challenging....I am pleased with this shed for the price..
I didn't know what to expect, when I saw the picture of the item I felt it was what I needed. It was delivered on the date I was told, no problem there. Whenever we inspected the items we were in total shock. What do we do, how do we put it together? My husband payed it all out, was reasonably sure he had all the pieces, then took his time and put it all together. At the young age of 74 yrs. he had no problem. It's what we needed and it fit well on our property. THANK YOU
Make sure everything is level and square. Otherwise screw/bolt/panels will not line up. Take your time and follow directions to a 'T'. Otherwise not bad for the price.
Yes it was time consuming to put together you definitely need a flat level surface to build it on and a non windy day. Being that I live in KS there are not any non windy days. I felt very accomplished when I saw the fished product a little bummed that there is no hole to put a padlock on the doors but if someone really wanted to they could take the screws out and get in, if they really wanted to.
I built this with my brother and it would've taken the 7 hours it said it would take if the screws provided worked properly. They were terrible and kept stripping cuz they wouldn't go through both pieces of metal. The holes on the metal bars were too small and we had to drill through many of them to make them a little bigger but we still had problems. So we had to go out and buy new screws called Sheet metal self drilling screws. They worked great and were more secure as well. Several of the screws that came with the shed kept popping out of the siding as we attached other panels. Also, many times it said to preassemble two beams together then we had to take several screws back out to attach a panel to it. So my only complaint was that we wasted a lot of extra, unnecessary time on these issues. Once it was done, it looked great and I'm very happy with the finished project.
Instructions bad, not the easiest to follow. Hardware deficted, two out of every three don't work. Thank God they send extra hardware. Would still recomend because it is reasonable and has plenty of room.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this shed is very flimsy, there were parts missing, it is hard to put together, it will take 2 people over 8 hours to put this thing together (not professionals), and that's not counting building the base out of wood or concrete. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS THING TO ANYONE, but i guess you get what you pay for. the wall and some parts already come dented out of the box.
The shed appears in the picture to be about 6 feet tall, but it is actually much shorter. The assembly is very difficult and time consuming and the optional floor frame is something that needs to be purchased to make sure the shed is not flimsy.
