We got this deck box to hide kids toys from view during summer BBQ's. Its the perfect size, it holds 2 larger ride-on toys, umbrellas, big toy bins, all of our patio cushions, tiki torches, and whatever else we can shove in there. I love that it opens from the front and from the top, the kids can ride a bike right in there and put their own toys away. Definitely not secure, even with a lock you could kick the thing apart but it keeps it clean and dry and out of view.
I love this storage deck box! Super easy to put together, lots of room, durable, and sturdy. I can't believe it is on sale now!! I waited months after finding this before purchasing, saved money , etc. One week after purchasing this, it goes on sale!!
This is very easy to assemble and is the perfect size for just about everything. The only thing I had difficulty with was pressing down on the lid to snap into the hinges which took some strength.
We purchased this storage unit to store our backup generator. The generator fits nicely in the unit and leaves some extra space for other items. The storage unit went together in about 1 hour and is very sturdy. t I like the split top and bottom for easy accessibility. It is build in such as way as to be water tight so it's perfect for our application. I would recommend this unit.
Overall we were happy with this product. The labeling of the parts was a bit challenging as they were alphabetical in the directions and then labeled with colored dots with no letters on the actual pieces. It would have been nice for the manufacturer to have coordinated that better. It is the right size for our small lawnmower and other garden tools.
Very easy to assemble. Nice neutral appearance. Not sure if it can handle daily use (opening, closing, putting items in and out). For my occassional use - it will work fine.
Directions call out parts with Alphabet letters, but parts are labeled with colored dots rather than the alphabet. The directions tell you the wrong way to start the bottom of the unit, actually upside down. Luckily the storage unit is easy enough to assemble, that you can figure it out by the pictures.
I needed something that was longer than most of the horizontal sheds on the market, and this was about my only option (everything else is built for 2 trash cans, and I am not storing trash cans in this). It went together fine, but I'm not thrilled with the hinges (which are just a thin spot in the molded front - the thin spot bends, but it's not a hinge, and i hope it lasts). Maybe this is normal for this sort of shed that opens at the front. That said, it looks fine and if it holds up, I'll have gotten my money's worth. I wanted to de-clutter the area around my camper and store things out of the rain, and this looks like it's going to be fine for that.
Pretty good value considering alternatives cost three times as much. Was disappointed that it is not secure. True it has a padlock latch but the whole thing can come apart with one strong kick. For example the walls just slide into a groove in the plastic floor but they there are no screws to fasten them there. If one has enough power to lift the walls and cover lid (2 guys can do that), they would come right off the floor hense the insecurity. I know they wanted it to be easy and quick to assemble but in my opinion few more screws would have made this product 10 times more sturdy and secure.
It went together very easy even though it has color stickers that don't mean anything for the assembly. It depends on what you use it for. I have wood flooring samples that I put in there and there is some pressure on the walls from the samples leaning on them and the walls keep coming off from the bottom. You can't have much pressure on the inside walls.
