I am very pleased with my new storage shed, it went together in just about one hour or so, two at the most. It only took one person to put it together, it's that simple. It's very sturdy and the flooring material in it is good quality. It's appearance is okay too, it's not going to dent or rust like those old metal ones from yesteryear. All in all it's doing the job intended to do, storing our yard equipment. I'm kind of thinking I would like another one but money is getting tight now that Christmas is here, so I'll wait but maybe in the spring I'll be placing an order for the same item. P.S. LOVE LOVE LOVE the free shipping, thank you Walmart!

Exactly what I needed.

The 7.5' x 5' storage shed is exactly what I needed for the space I have and the HOA requirements i needed to conform to. My wife and I, (definitely a two person job), assembled the shed in about 7 hours. This does not include the time required to build the very necessary base platform as the foundation. Be sure to build yours a full 8' x 6', I did an 8' x 5' and had to add on another foot to go under the threshold. The tools most used were a rubber mallet, an electric screwdriver, a box cutter and a step stool. Make sure you study the parts nomenclature and follow the step-by-step procedure - don't skip or jump ahead. I now have stored a full sized wheelbarrow, a walk-behind push power mower, a grass trimmer and still have lots a space left.

After a lot of research, finally bought this shed. I have a suncast deck box and it has held up well over the years. I had limited space, so 7.5 by 5 just fit. I built a wood platform, pressure treated 2X4s and 1/2" 4X8 pressure treated plywood. It took about 3 hours to assemble the shed by myself. Used a small battery powered driver set at force level 4 to avoid stripping out screws. Read the instructions several times, but with the part letters stamped into the parts, it's hard to screw up. My wife helped once, when starting the wall assembly, but once the corner and a wall panel are in, it's off to the races. It seems flimsy at first, but once the rafters were on, it is nice and strong. Two people would make assembly faster, especially with the roof panels. I am very happy with the shed, price and quality are good, and the shed basically snaps together.

I highly recommend this 7.5x5' shed to even the most novice handy man/woman. When constucted on a solid surface (I built and leveled an 8x6' deck for mine), this shed can be assembled by two adults in less than 2 hours. Only a power screwdriver set to minimal torque, a rubber mallet and a pan head screwdriver are needed. The latter two items are simply to help it come together when it needs a little coaxing, which wasn't often. When completed, the shed is a very solid structure almost surprisingly so given the fact that it basically snaps together! Instructions are very clear including blow ups of detailed areas when necessary. It's maintenance-free and secure enough to keep children out. However, given the fact that it's plastic, I wouldn't house anything in it that's too valuable. I will continue to buy Suncast products based on my extremely satisfying experience with this shed!

Like the other reviewers, I have to agree that this product was actually a pleasure to put together. The directions were clear, the parts were well marked and everything was very well engineered. If you plan to have your shed delivered to the store for pick up, be aware that it is a bundled set of 3 large 8 foot long boxes, about 5 feet wide and 3 feet thick. Have a couple of extra hands available to bring it home.

Should be five stars but

Five stars should be reserved for something that is stupendous. This is a very high functioning product. It fits together well and you can do most of it by yourself. I was impressed the way the shed tightened up and stiffened at the end when it was all tied together. Again, it's early in the product cycle but I can't imagine a resin shed deteriorating or warping much. You have to bring minimal know-how to the table with this product. The key to it all though is building a solid base which is done independently of the Suncast product. So far so good.

I was looking for a medium size shed that was not to tall as to stick above my wall and the dimensions on this shed were perfect. Assembly was VERY easy. Assembly instructions were nice and clear. I assembled it by myself (with a little help from my 6 and two five year old kids) in about three-four hours (2 adults can do it in 2 hours). PLENTY of room to hold my mower, trash can, blower, weed eater and all the rest of my gardening tools. I purchased the optional corner shelves and hooks which work nicely and are easy to install. Shelves are strong enough to hold my pool chemicals! A sturdy, level base in crutial. I built mine out of 4 x 4 and plywood (about $50 total from Home D). Overall a great product and would buy again....

A nice resin shed for the money.

I picked it up at walmart site to store. It came in 3 boxes. Two of them fit in the back of the Dodge durango with the rear seat folded down and one went into the back of a pickup truck. We could have made two trips, so we drove two vehicles instead. They all could have fit into the back of a pickup but I had a cover over the bed that limited box height. Assembly was easy enough. Attach and screw together the floor sections and front and back edge plates. Put in the wall base supports, then start attaching the corner and a wall section, another wall section, a corner then two more wall sections, another corner, the final wall sections. Put the doors together and attach to the front edge plate. The roof supports front and rear, then the steel braces to hold the rest of the roof panels. Install the roof panels. Secure the zip ties to hold the roof to the steel braces. Put a lock on the doors and your done. It took two people about 4 hours, but we were taking our time. Most of it went together very quickly. Instructions were better than average. Pictures were good guide. I used a power screwdriver set to very low torque setting so it clutched before it stripped out the screws. The hardware was simple. Everything was plastic on sprus for the small parts, and one bag of screws. You didn't have to worry about different size fasteners, as everything went to gether with the same size screws. It's a nice looking shed that doesn't exceed height limitations. It has the ability to support a wall shelf inside. None came with the shed. The door handles are plastic, everything just about is. Security would be limited to someone willing to break off the handles or pry the doors out of their hinges. So I suppose it would keep the honest people out. One thing I wish walmart provided here is a link to the owners assembly manual. As of this date, I've found one online and used it to review the assembly before purchasing and assembling the shed. It's 44 pages duplex and is dated 2008. The manual in the box was virtually identical but dated 2011. I didn't find any discrepancies between the manuals. http://shedgear.com/sgwassembly/a03b04.pdf

Okay materials, but it seems pretty flimsy. Instructions call for a base much larger than necessary. Wound up having to install 4x4 flashing to cover the remainder of our wood platform and protect it from the elements. Recommend removing from boxes and double-checking the exterior dimensions and then establishing your foundation accordingly. Would not trust the walls not to give/bend dramatically in a high winds. Placed ours against a fence line that has another house just 10 feet away, so it will be pretty well protected. Will probably reinforce with some 2x4 bracing anyway.
